There is no such race. High Elves are a race, Silver Covenant are not. We’re trying to get you to realise this, so that you ask for High Elves. Which is a reasonable request (ish) Keeping referring to Silver Covenant is like think that all Blood Elves are Sunreavers, which equally, they are not.
Do you want High Elves? yes or no? Do not utter the words Silver Covenant. Do you want High Elves?
Would that it were so, sadly some would not even be happy with the hair colours. Some want a -Second- Identical race called High Elves, I think we know whom I speak of.
Ah, there we go, on clockwork.
They’re kind of worse, they’re the PETA of the Elven world. “Eating Mana from animals is disgusting and wrong!”
“Ermm, you eat animals for food?”
“Yeah, but that is different!”
I’m joking, but you can see why the High Elves are regarded as hypocrites by the Blood Elves…
Pretty sure they killed people before that! I mean they did a job on Zul’jin and tortured him, but to be fair, he was Amani, so he doesn’t class as ‘People’.
Also the War Crimes in Dalaran were as a result of the Divine Bell theft, not the bombing of Theramore. Small distinction, but important. If it was as a result of Theramore they would have been even more in the wrong, as Dalaran had already broken it’s neutrality to aid the Alliance at Theramore, a fact commonly overlooked.
Still, War crimes are War crimes.
She has a nerve thinking anyone needs redeeming. She is a War Criminal who needs to end up dancing a hempen jig. Or does she believe, as some do, that joining the Alliance washes all past sins clean?
Lets be fair, they fed an innocent Blood Elf to a shark, the really big one, Segacedi, but yes, they are undeniably psycho’s.
She is a War criminal in charge of a Sectarian cult. Which is why she would be an awful choice to be in charge of the High Elves. Should be Renthar Hawkspear, or Auric Sunchaser, or Priestess Aurora. Someone who is not a War Criminal, basically.
Rommath did. Rommath is a douche. We all know this. It is part of his rogueish charm, also she did completely make that problem for herself, by not listening to advice.
Good. As well they should. Disgusting. She carried on the Family degeneracy and proved that Windrunner’s cannot be trusted. Oh, by the way, High Elves also used the racial slurs, as did the humans. Half Elves are not well loved by either species, no one is saints in this. Check out Alodi if you are in any doubt.
Yeah, they learned how to drain mana from animals for sustenance, which was obviously disgusting to the High Elves who draw energy from animals via eating meat. Strangely with a bunch of militant Vegan/not Vegan/Vegan when it suits us elves in his city Lor’themar went “Go on then, off you trot”
NOPE.
Big Nope, because everyone makes this mistake. They did not ‘remain loyal’ to the Alliance. They sook refuge with the Alliance from the Neutral nation they had been exiled from. The Blood Elves in WC3 were volunteers under Kael’thas, and Sunfury. Pretty sure Vereesa and the High Elves were not members of the Sunfury, or it would have been impossible for them to be Exiled by Lor’themar Theron, as they were on a different planet.
There is no -Staying Loyal- to the Alliance here. Quel’thalas was in the Alliance for the duration of WC2 and no longer. That is the lore.
Sensible point. That would annoy you, for sure. That is definitely a reason for one heck of a grudge.
Her own fault and hypocrisy.
And the person who made sure her husband was there to be killed by the bomb was a human? And she is quite happy to use the weapons that killed ‘muh husband’ against Blood Elves on Isle of Thunder. She also does not know who made the bomb? No one does. We, the player of the game, or reader of the novels know, but there is only one NPC in game who knew who made the bomb, and that was Garrosh Hellscream, and he ain’t in a position to blab.
I mean it is a fair assumption. Only Blood Elves know how to make Mana Bombs. The Kirin Tor have figured out how to use them (as we see on Thunder Isle) but even then they are using ones stolen from the Blood Elves, so her assumption is not baseless, but would she have quite the same ire if he had died to a bullet or a grenade?
Bit of a weird take on things.
Oh Gods yeah, Humans hate High Elves apparently, according to Alodi’s upbringing. Obviously Windrunner brats get preferential treatment, but yeah, neither humans nor High Elves or Blood Elves like Half Elves.
Amen to that. Blizzard self-insert writers need a hefty slap with a heavy tome of Tolkien’s works going “This is not the only way Elf women and human men can interact you complete dodohead!”
They pretty much are animals, yeah, just ones of magical origin, rather than biological. Blood Elves did learn how to siphon magic out of biological creatures as well, so technically other humanoids, but Quel’thalas was full of magical ‘Vermin’ so they basically ate rats to stave off the addiction.
