Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race (Part 1)

Sure, but what does that have to do with Silver Covenant not being a race?

im just saying that if you argue that High elves shouldnt be added in the game because they are similar to Blood elves

then hellooo, look at Void elves. we are literally High elves with a shadow form that lasts 12 seconds in combat.

i swear i saw a Shadow priest Blood elf once and i thought for a minute she was a void elf if it wasnt for the “blood elf” tag above her.

Huh? No, I said they’re already in the game.

yes i agree with you. Both Blood elves and Void elves can have the High elf look, so it is in the game. i think that is way majority of the people here disagree with OP.

However, the actual High elf fans for the most part are happy with the Void elves we have now… only one problem (lack of natural hair colors) it ruins RP for many of us, so we end up wearing ugly hats.

Yeah but I thought about that and I guess you could just explain it as their hair turned bad after all that evil stuff they did. Like the corruption manifested after all the innocent people they killed and I assume they did some cannibalism too.

highelves such as silvercovenant highelves

Yeah, I know. We have those high elves already. They are on horde and they are called blood elves. Or you can just play void elf and say their hair turned evil from the cannibalism and stuff.

ummm… no. we are not evil lol. we are not cannibals too, those would be the trolls.

Void elves are like Gothy Nerds seeking knowledge.

“the universe is full of mystery”
“we walk our own path”
“question everything”

I was talking about Silver Covenant, sorry.

yeah but… the Silver covenant are not cannibals either. they hate sucking magic out of animals, let alone eat their own people lol. they are like vegetarians

as for killing people, yeah it happened once in Mist of Panadaria due to the bombing of Theramore,.

they hate blood elves only due to faction, Vereesa herself said that the blood elves would be redeemed if they join the Alliance. (obviously wont happen, so she will continue hating them)

Hmm well they fed innocent high elves to sharks so they’re kinda psychos. Also…

Vereesa herself said that the blood elves would be redeemed if they join the Alliance.[/quote]

She sounds like a cult leader. I mean she’s basically the leader of a small partisan band of psychopaths talking about the redemption of the entire race.

So I’m not sure if they are actually cannibals or not but they seem like they’re only one step away from it and i think it would be a great story plot if it turned out they were.

Also if it turned out they were cannibals it would be a good excuse for the horde and alliance to wipe them out once and for all and then people won’t need to complain anymore so that’s good.

Awfully convenient.

Redeemed from… what exactly? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
There are individuals and/or their very small fanatical group of blind followers (uncomfortably familiar situation with the Silver Covenant or Umbric or Aleria… :expressionless:)… but as a race the Blood Elves done nothing “wrong”, they don’t need redemption
But you peeked my curiosity, what do you think Vareesa ment by about the Blood elves need redemption?
(I hope not the Naga business or their mana-draning habit from magical baesties… not everyone had the opportunity to feed on Dalaran’s magic, and the Night Elves not really sent them supllies of water from a moonwell - the only thing that could ease (not cure) the torment of addiction. For survival you need to be pragmatic and sometime ruthless… but thats not a “crime” when you are on the brink of extinction and with your people that 7000 years of history and knowledge would be gone too…)

There are many factors.

  1. Some Blood elves blamed Vereesa for not fighting in the war even though she was pregnant with twins.

  2. Blood elves have racist slurs to her half human children. Or the fact she married a human in the first place. Her blood elf cousin tried to murder her children, but failed to do so.

  3. Blood elves used “unique” ways to drain magic from animals, something a few high elves found disgusting which ultimately led to refusing to do that. Vereesa, the Dalaran elves, the Highvale elves, and many others refused to do that. However majority (who are blood elves) ended up using this technique of sucking magic, which resulted in the two arguing and distancing from each other.

The ones who refused remained loyal to the alliance, the ones who didn’t went to the horde. Which brings me to my next point

  1. Faction. Vereesa’s family were killed by the Horde in Warcraft 2 and this left a bitter taste. Her parents, brother, uncles and aunts, and 17 of her cousins. Windrunner Village was a bloody mess. Her brother’s head was placed outside of Quel’thelas by an Orc.

  2. Exile.

  3. The person who made the bomb that killed her husband, was a blood elf.

Many of these things may not seem like a “crime” to Blood elves, but to Vereesa and many other High elves… this wound is too big to heal so easily.

Um o.o I’m not sure what you’re implying but it doesn’t sound canon to me.

Oh yeah… from a Human

Half-breeds and hybrids are rarely tolerated… even among humans

Personal things, yes
Its dangerous to mix politics with personal things
Azeroth would be a better place without the Windrunner sisters and their human fondness…
No mater what kind of a 'dorei you are,- sin, quel, ren, shal, kal - you can be sure, there is a Windrunner near by to ruin your future… :unamused:

What do you mean? It’s even in the burning crusade trailer. It’s canon

It’s at minute 1:23

Oh okay, well that’s fine then. Was confused by your wording.

I’m not sure those magical things could be called an animal
Energy beeings… maybe… manifestations?
But on Azeroth even the rock and grass is filled with some kind of Arcane or magical energy, so… :woman_shrugging:t2:
Elves are sponges anyway
