Twas a wasted nuke. It missed the two most important targets anyway.
I didn’t talk about the Silver Covenant, I was talking to someone who said that the new “High Elves” models obviously (that’s how I understood it) needed magic to fight against their dependence and that the Void were theirs, whereas in theory if it is indeed “Our High Elves” they precisely do not need to use the Void for this purpose because they already have the Sunwell which allows them to counter this dependence, and that without being in the same area.
Probably misclicked the reply then.
I still think my solution is much beter, much more final.
I think the female Void Elf make it clear in one of their jokes that they’re “over” the Sunwell.
Np, but we do not even know which story we are going to have the right with these
customizations, so I wait for news from the devs before saying it’s good or not, even if I would have preferred in the first place a distinct race between the High Elves and Void elves.
Maybe, but as said above we don’t know more about the history of these models, are they High Elves (from all backgrounds: SC, Stormwind or Quel’Danil) who have joined forces with the Void Elves, have they undergone a transformation that infuses them with Void or are they not corrupt? It seems to me that nothing is said for the moment.
Edit :
Here some of my questions about that if you don’t understand what I mean
If anything this makes the SC coming home to Silvermoon more possible.
No way are they going to get involved in Void magic.
I wonder how they react to Anduin casually inviting Void Elves that are unstable nukes into Stormwind and Alliance overall. They left because they didn’t want to suck critters
Tyrande’s not going to be best pleased either.
But she’s clearly on her way out.
How did I miss this.
Blizzard could have given the Alliance an inside civil war between the Void Elves and High Elves.
“Ugh, more of our own turning to the powers of void, remaining as vile as the Horde supporting Blood Elves”
“How dare you judge us, you did not see the horrors, you did not return to the lands you once called home… no, you left us all to rot in the ruins of our once proud home and you DARE judge us for doing what was necessary to reclaim our heritage, to safeguard our people”
And fight ensues and the Void Elves end up killing the High Elves permanently.
High Elf and Blood Elf animosity? Heck that… now above is far more interesting… and it would give the Alliance something to sink their teeth into… something more interesting.
If blizzard had actually done the faction conflict properly, then a civil war in Quel’thalas about it staying on leaving the horde after Teldrasill would have been a great plot point.
They absolutely have undergone some form of physical mutation by the very nature of their racials which are wholly incompatible with the High Elven physiology.
No need for a civil war… I do believe the Blood Elves are very willing to follow Lor’themar without objecting.
Still got to remember that Alleria returned, and she could have been used to rally the High Elves in trying to get Qual’thalas back to the alliance while also persuading citizens of Silvermoon in turning their back to Lor’Thermar for still sticking to a bunch of savages.
Why would they trust Alleria, who have been away for several years, over Lor’themar who have lead them through one of the most difficult times ever, succesfully even?
Lor’themar feared more for the idea of going against the Horde at this point aswell, afraid that the Blood Elves may not be as willing to join his side against the Horde.
The last Alliance supporters in the Blood Elven ranks left with the Void Elves.
They can do that anyway, look at how the faction is composed these days -
You have Dark Irons, but ofcourse they’ve been turned into bunnies.
You have those Light zealots, or they could have been the Lightforged Draenei, joining with those other Lightdrones, the Draenei and possibly stiring some shett up agains the Void Elves(although Void is just lol at this point).
You have the underground Scarlet Crusade hissing at Anduin, and Non Humans, while the poor ash covered Night Elf refugees are still squatting all over Stormwind, Void Elves running around, wich are basicly turncoat Blood Elves anyway.
Realisticly, it could be enough of a powder keg for allot of drama - If there was a want to go there.
Topper McNabb has more of a claim to that city than that crazed witch who actively fought against and killed her own people in this expansion. Not to mention that she’s a danger to the populace because of her negative affects on the Sunwell.
Alleria seems completely obvlivious to how the world has changed and moved on in her absence.
I wouldn’t trust anything she had to say either.
Yes, but what I mean by that, these light-skinned elves, will they be considered by the developers as Void Elves or High Elves, as I said above, are they Void Elves but with a light skin color, or are they really High Elves? So if it is really High Elves it is therefore Sunwell that they draw their magic, if they are Void Elves it is therefore Void they draw their magic, but as we say, as long as we have not seen their other customizations and the explanation of devs we can just make theories and asked questions that I do now. I hope you understand what i mean now.
Because Alleria saved Silvermoon back in the 2nd war as well as assisted the alliance in stopping the Dark portal.
That one. Just as blue eyed Blood Elves are just that…blue eyed Blood Elves.
But anyone is free to RP as they want.
