Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race (Part 1)

they weren’t going to add another elf allied race. SPECIALLY, the exact mirror image of blood elves with blue eyes. EVER.

Give up. It barely made sense lore wise. IT made absolutely no sense, game design wise. And now that you have high elf appearance, it’s totally redundant.

Enjoy the voidy tentacle lord and saviors you have and leave the high elves in dalaran to chill.

Oh, i have my own head on my shoulders. Playing since vanilla, i do not need somebody else to tell what is what.

And yes highelves are not playable for alliance.

I do hope they conclude the SC storyline with these changes.

My guess is that they die out or something happens in pre patch that they scatter. We will see I guess, this is pure speculation on my part.

High Elf of vanilla looked like Night Elf~ keep playing your “high elf” night elf :joy:

They are already ingame, what elves you consider “adding” more?

They are ingame just not yet playable

Or just ignore the void stuff and say they’re sustained by the sunwell, and ignore entropic embrace.

Honestly some people’s inability to entertain suspense of disbelief is utterly staggering. You have the core part, the player model, it’s just game mechanics that sit it apart now.

This guy is conceptualised as an alchemist class for me. He uses tonics to heal, and chugs them in tandem with alterations to his mechanical parts to fuel himself for melee combat. He is not a monk. He does not invoke the celestials.

It really isn’t that hard. Players have been doing this in RP servers for years. And yet helf fans seem unable to so because of a racial nametag and the graphics of a racial you see once per minute in average. Seriously?

And not only that, because of the inability to do the above they ask for another AR slot to be taken up with a race that will look identical to the way velf can look, but has different racials? Or ask that velf get a special deal to pick different racials altogether?

Surely people can see why some are seeing some helf fans as entitled. There’s already a special deal in that velf are getting customisation when it was stated ARs will have to wait, but this isn’t good enough because they dislike velf so need more and more bonus offers?

I didn’t like LFD much, do I get special demands as well? Understand this is a bone thrown that didn’t have to be thrown at all. Blizz could easily have said "tough crap, it’s blue velf or belf " but people still refuse to see this as a bonus because they feel for some wierd reason they’re entitled to more than the game designers see fit to do with their own lore. This is the definition of entitlement.

I’d be grateful this alone was given tbh.

SC is never becoming playable after these changes. Because the alliance is not going to a get an exact copy of its own race. Not even extremely unlikely, but borderline impossible.

we have night elf, blood elf, void elf and nightfallen. Enough is enough.

Murlocs are in game too. Doesn’t mean they have to be an allied race.

I always loved the Silver Covenant, but I have come to the point where I am also hoping for something like this to happen, at the very least to settle this debate.

I mean seriously, it makes me feel ashamed to play Alliance that some would expect to get TWO races based on the High/Blood Elf model which is actually the main Horde race. Having gotten it for the Void Elves is already incredible to start with.

Unless they remove faction restrictions altogether, it really makes no sense to keep asking. Right or not, the High Elf AR ship has sailed when the Void Elves were invented by Blizzard… and since the past cannot be changed, it comes a time when one should try and look at what one they are given and be happy with it.

I think otherwise. SC highelves will be playable.

I see no reasons to not them playable with such huge demand!

Are you saying that playable Eredar (not Manari~ just original Eredar) is impossible?

(Darth Vader) Nooooo~

What huge demand? Most Helf wannabe are happy with skin colors.

It seems to me that all the Thalassian Elves (except maybe the Void Elves because they are changed by the Void) are linked to the Sunwell right? If I remember correctly it was in Lor’themar Theron in the shadow of the sun: Aurora’s voice startled him. “I had wondered why the pangs of the addiction felt so eased lately. I have not needed … help … to cope.” “The magic in the Sunwell is different now,” Lor’themar said. “It may take a while for some to adjust.” “Some, yes.” Aurora reached her hand up and seemed to grasp something that Lor’themar could not see, twisting it between her fingers as if it were a long ribbon. "I am a priestess of the Light. I know this magic." Knowing that the High Elves of Quel’Lithien were not very friendly towards the Blood Elves and that they still feel their dependence diminished.

I see one good reason it’s called “incredibly peeved alliance playerbase outside of Helf zealots whom are immensely unhappy that an entire AR slot that could have been utilised for any number of other races is being used on a race that looks identical to velf and belf but has different racials and a different 1 min intro story video”.

You don’t need any other reasons, that’s good enough. People were upset KTs and MGs are too close to their core races. You think a race that looks exactly the same as velf custom options will go down well with anyone except hardcore helfers? It’s not worth aggroing the majority of the alliance playerbase to pander to the demands of a small group that are ridiculously entitled and ungrateful even when you do throw them a bone that is not at current being done for any other allied race.

Time for Blizzard to kill off the Silver covenant, just make them split between Void Elves and Hi- I mean Blood Elves.
Oh and Vereesa dies, she was the ‘suddenly’ sister anyways.
Some of the Silver Covenant dip into the powers of the Void to fight the Horde and their kin of Quel’thalas., The other half is so horrified and disgusted they reconsider their dumb ways(and redundant organisation) and return to their own people.

Problem solved, everything else is dragging out more of this bs.

No need to orphan her children.

She can just take a step down, withdraw from the limelight to focus on raising her sons.

jebus, dont you guys ever tire of elfs. i mean really.?

Oh Right, well aunt Sylvanas can raise them.
Or maybe Lady Liadrin, teach them to be proper Horde elven lads.

I prefer the Maw. She still hasn’t answered for what she and her terrorist underlings did in Dalaran.

Maybe not…

But haven’t seen any Blood Elves pay for building the literal nuke that blew up Theramore either.

Live and let live I say.
