Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race (Part 1)

LOL!!! I giggled XD, it doesn’t look like that come on, how did you reach that kind of conclusion??

It’s an in-game rune that’s been rather important to high elves, especially before the rise of the blood elves. I’'m not surprised at all that Moontear has no idea what it is. I’d be quite astonished if she did.

I think it reminds you of Ravenclaw, Visna, with the bronze replaced with gold (and the raven replaced with a phoenix).

You’ll find, Moontear isn’t really sure what they want in terms of High Elves.

Wants High Elves, but different from Blood Elves, but wants High Elves…but not High Elves that can be different from Blood Elves.

I think they meant for Void elves to be the Alliance’s own kind of High elves, ya know? That’s why they gave us skins and eyes. Once they add some more high elfy hairstyles and hair colours we will be complete. Then we will be High elves other than name, just like Blood elves are High elves other than name. Perhaps it is an even better thing that they combined the features of void elves and high elves into one race as that modernizes us. Then we could advocate for our own Void elven city, where Void elves will reside with High elf NPCs, since Void elves are technically also High elves.

I don’t really need a city. Both void elves and high elves are exiles. It’s part of what sets them apart from blood elves. I agree about having full high elf options for void elves. Then you get to choose if you’re playing a high elf that’s been dabbling with the void, or not. And you get to choose the degree of void influence, if any at all.

Both Void elves and Night elves should build a city in my opinion. Void elves can build one in Telogrus (it’s an amazing area that could be a great place to invest in expanding and placing a capital into) or Allerian Stronghold in Terrokar. Ofcourse it will look unique, different from Silvermoon. With gold and dark blue decor and purple and crystals, a voidy forest around it, etc. The Night elves could build in Hyjal or even Ruins of Zin’Aszhari where their ancestors had a home.

come on…those signs as a “doll” in blue circles…

i know, but Ion said anything possible in the future…so who knows?

there should be a lot of void portals to all worlds for void elves

Still no idea what it is?

i already explained. Can you read?

Wow…that level of hostility was certainly justified and not wildly over the top…

Haha! Brilliant. You have no idea what the rune is, do you? It’s okay if you don’t. Just say so, and I’ll tell you. Meanwhile, I’ll give you a hint: It’s not a satanic doll.

I can’t quite make it out properly, but even I admit it took me a bit of thinking till I remembered it (Because I am always too stubborn to Google things like that), then it came to me.

Yeah, good choice. Gooood choice. (I won’t spoiler it)

Have a clue Moontear, It was to do with something the High Elves had permanently, that was involved in the High Elves becoming the Blood Elves, and lorewise the Blood Elves can have again, but it takes effort this time.

still looks like a satanic doll sign.

I’m intrigued…what do you think a Satanic Doll is? and what it looks like? Don’t say “It looks like that” because that doesn’t look like anything to do with Satan. It is in fact something iconic to High Elves, as you would know, if you actually cared about them.

I think what we are embarrassingly getting from this is that you don’t actually give a damn about High Elves at all, do you?

I want playable highelves such as silver covenant?

Runestone Falithas -https://wow.gamepedia.com/Runestone_Falithas

it has no meaning but “defense rune”. Which is kind of looking like a satanic rune in real life.

having such runes in emblem does not make any sense.

Ah well, it is a High Elf thing, not a Silver Covenant thing.

It was the Runestones that powered Ban’dinoriel!

That Literally is massively important! It was a massive High Elf thing, how can you claim to want High Elves and not know what it was?

You…do know what Ban’dinoriel was, right?

Also, if you think that looks like a Satanic rune you are rather charmingly incorrect in that assumption. It most certainly does not.

It’s not a silver covenant emblem. You make that if you want it. It’s for high elves. You should look them up. High elves are actually really interesting. They have some nice lore to them. I can highly recommend reading up on the race. Other than just the Silver Covenant ones. There’s history both before and after the rise of the blood elves that’s quite relevant to the high elves the rest of us are asking for. But all that’s just satanic dolls and ugly, insignificant runes in your eyes, right?

Meanwhile, because the Icon of the Phoenix is not only my personal interpretation of what the high elf crest might have looked like before the blood elves, but also the result of community input, I’m taking suggestions from people who are genuinely interested, and have basic knowledge of high elves. What do you think is missing or somehow could be changed for the better with this crest? I’m hoping to be able to say the crest is complete in not too many days.
