That is possible too. (Well I think) That Sylvanas will be joining the Alliance either way (So Blizzard will have their windrunner sisters reunion), Since the Horde NPCs Hate her now. Especially the Forsaken so she has no way returning to the Horde, We could see it in Northrend at the Argent Crusade Tournament where the Forsaken themselves had pulled down Dark Lady/Banshee Queen Banner to the ground. But its possible she might sit the next expansion out so the other (cough) “Bench warmer” Leaders will get the spotlight in the next expansion since we basically had 3 expansion about her. Same for Anduin, He doesn’t have to be in every expansion.
Which why for the horde its good they have a council so they can switch leadership for each expansion. Next expansion maybe Lor’themar will lead the Horde and few other leaders support him and the expansion after that maybe Gaslowe leads the horde for one expansion. And I think the Alliance needs that too, they have to split up the Alliance to later rebuild and become a “New” Alliance with switched Leadership without a High King. And wouldn’t be the first time, Since the first Alliance was Lordaeron Alliance, then later a new Alliance was build. the Grand Alliance in Stormwind. The Horde has also gone through with rebuilding the Horde 3 times (counting the recent one in BFA) so, should be Alliance turn in the next expansion. By that I mean fall apart and then rebuild and become a stronger Alliance.
Well we will see what blizzard had in mind for next expansion. I think they know about the High elves request and maybe they make the void elves into something between high elf and void elf. They did change the hunter pet for void elves in the character creation screen (to a more creature that was touched by the void or altered by the void just like void elves) but ingame its still the same void lizard. Perhaps it was just an idea that they didn’t follow through just like with the two tone skin and two tone hair color. Maybe blizzard had/have other ideas for void elves. who knows.

Well what I mean is her mind and spirit will be High elf ranger (She would most likely not have high elf armor on her of course because that would be weird) again if it is as many suspect with the new info that Sylvanas soul was split just like Uther. But we will see when the raid is released. Blizzard is talking alot about that encounter with Sylvanas.
And besides Rustylegs anything is possible, considering if handful of individuals (“Elite Squad” that changes sides that is just 20 people or less) can become a playable race (When they said for years that High elves is too small as a population to be playable race for the Alliance which have more individuals than Void elves) then anything is possible even if it doesn’t make sense or would work etc etc.

I been thinking that as well.
Could be (could be) Sylvanas becomes a new form of High Elf with Shadowlands powers and spikey Maw armor for a new High Elven race, that would be unique from the blood elves (the spikes at the back of the bird gives it away with maw armor) it is a possibility. Still thinking if Im going to buy the bird. don’t like the spikes at the back but the head piece is great. But if it is a hint of Silver Covenant High elves (but re envisioned) playable race with Sylvanas in the lead. Hell I support for it. What do you think Moontear?
But also could just be an old blizzard tease, I mean why would blizzard break from traditions.
Edit: I bought the mount. the color of the mount match well with my void elf/high elf looking. But they need to adjust it abit. My character sits “inside” the bird. Maybe make the seat/saddle smaller and move the character abit higher up. Been wanting an eagle mount but this mount will work better for my Silver Covenant Elves. Hmm you know what, with a unicorn/courser mount with similar color as Sapphire Skyblazer/Armor. That would be cool. Now Im really interested on what will happen at the raid with Sylvanas.

Hmm, hmm (brainstorming) this could work and that the “new” high elves can still be edgy and have this blue magic from Shadowlands “If” Sylvanas becomes redeemed with a new knowledge and Sylvanas combines High Elven architect with Maw architect. Its possible they wont be called High elves but be given a new race name but they be closer to being High Elves or “Another flavor of High Elves”. But still just theory/wishes could be neither happens and something else happens to Sylvanas. I quess we will see when the raid comes. But my “hopes” for High Elves have come back.
Edit: There is still a possibility in the future that Void Elves could go Insane as we saw in N’zoth’s Mind so Void Elves could become a threat to everyone on Azeroth but with this new power from Shadowlands there is no risk for that. The “new” High elves would have full control of the new magic themselves. And if needed we do have a working titan forge that can purge void corruption. But as I said before that nothing of this could happen.
Edit 2: …Hmm I don’t know, went back to Telogrus Rift with one of the void elves. Makes things confusing regarding elves. Maybe the void elves just need to be done/completed as a race and some added and altered and the void elves would work as the High Elves. There just something about that place and music that creates the mystery of the void magic etc. Maybe is better to make the void elves something between high elves and void elves. As suggestions I made in an other thread for new heritage armor, new tabard, buildings and how to make more void elves etc etc and Visna’s hair colors suggestions and hair effects. And the void magic does have two colors purple/black and blue/black so maybe with a glyph we could change the color from purple/black to blue/black. When going to Telogrus Rift, one is torned (for me anyway) on whether I should play as a void elf or RP as a High elf Silver Covenant. Maybe I would have accepted Void elves as the new high elves of alliance if they were more complete as a race. Since they were launched back at the end of legion they always felt incomplete as a race and so, felt weird as race and within the Alliance.
There just something about that place.

Well, most void elves want Alleria’s high elf customization look. Would be great if void elves were renamed to high elves and give full high elf customization option such as silver covenant high elves.

I’m sorry, but if someone with your mindset wants Quel’dorei, I can kind of see that as an automatic reason not to make them playable, so that people with that mindset get discouraged and stop playing…
Of course everything has to be about you High elves… You don’t care about what the Void elves wants at all… the world has to evolve around your Agenda. And everytime a Void elf voices their opinion you get defensive… Ack, so typical.

I don’t know… I mean, I used to be a high elf campaigner too. But when we got the skin colours and blue eyes… There was just more interesting things about Void elves than being a blue eyed blood elf on the Alliance. Know allot of people like Void elves too.

I always liked High Elves ever since I saw them on Stormwind, Outland, and Dalaran back in WOTLK.
Then we got the Void elf version and… it’s just not the same. I’ve been stuck with this Grey hair since September and I’m not even sure at this point they are going to do anything about the hair colors. So I just gave up and got bored with them. I think my actual hair turned grey while waiting

Night elves are currently looking waaay better and they got the most customization in the game too.

You can roleplay as someone who masters madness and insanity. Someone who dabbles in the frontier of sanity betweeen insanity. The magic it unlocks, the balance between your self and ‘‘it’’ there is a struggle that will never go away. There is more going on about you. than any ordinary blond and blue eyed blood elf ever will have. For just the base to make your Rp about alone. And who knows where your your character ends up. It could be anywhere. For good or for worse. It all depends on how your character handles the change.
It’s actually Orcs which have the most options, and to a pretty an insane degree I might add. There was a pie chart either here or on reddit which showed it graphically, but basically there are more unique customization combinations for just Orc Males than for all the other races combined.
Nelf females have the next most after that.
