Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race (Part 1)

Funny~ show me this canonical numbers

Void elves were not portrayed as dying race. They are new race~ core difference. When everyone will play dying race then its destroying everything writers worked for.

It negates your original post that there are more velves first and foremost.

And yes, the Alliance needs their fair-skinned elves some people have literally rallied half a decade for them on the forums. They deserve it, if you like it or not.

90% of the High Elf race was slain by the Scourge. 9.9% became Blood Elves, and 0.1% are still alive. That 0.1% is getting even lower with them now studying the void and becoming Void Elves, likely following Alleria’s example. I hope they confirm this, because it makes sense. There are High Elves in Telogrus, if you want proof of that. The High Elf race is just a small as the Void Elf race.

There are no official numbers. Don’t try to hang yourself up on it. Current lore suggests that they cannot make new velves because the ones you play were just a group practicing a ritual you encounter in their introduction questline. In other words, there’re just a room full of them.

Doesn’t take any point from me away.

Well, how many belves are there anyway?

No one knows, but 0.1% is pretty damn low. It’s getting even lower as the Void Elf population goes up.

From where does this number comes?

Apparently they can by looking at new customizations. Void Elves from into scenario are blue-colored.

Wowpedia. smile

We’ve already discussed this some posts before. It’s currently not confirmed that the helves join the velves. It’s only suggested but we have no true conformation for it yet.

Can you please link the phrase to us? Would like to see what the original source was. Otherwise I will look then for it.

I didn’t mention helves tho~ I just believe that they can increase their numbers… be it belves, helves or whatever new flavor of elf will appear in Shadowlands.

The high elves were once a significant force on the continent, but in recent times their numbers have been dramatically reduced: approximately 90% of their population was slaughtered during the Third War. Following this, 90% of the surviving high elves changed their name to “blood elves” or sin’dorei (children of the blood in Thalassian) in remembrance of their fallen brethren, and no longer consider themselves high elven.” - Wowpedia

So my mistake, 1% of the remaining OG High Elves are still alive. But again, that number may as well be reduced since they’re turning into Void Elves.

I have read it for myself now. For anyone interested:

I’m way too lazy to calculate the actual numbers but someone listed the population at 25,000. Anyways, I’ll take this just as a “bigger number” compared to the velves for now.

Whatever helps hold up yalls argument. Not much else is. :joy: :ok_hand:

Well, thanks anyway for confirming my initial post. There are more helves out there.

and thank you for agreeing that Velves were a mistake too!

This is why I have no empathy nor any interest on anyone with a slight resemblance of coming against High elves. Your posts feel like you are just a clone of the same person, again and again and again.

You can keep your hate for the topic for youself, nobody wants it, hopefully you will rot with it.

nobody wants mediocrity either, and high elves are the definition of the word when we already had blood elves to begin with.

Oh, want to talk about mediocrity?

Ok, what about wanting for Blizzard to just put some High elf skins on Void elves and utterly despise anyone asking for complete additions instead of half-baked crap? You think you are someone oh-so-worried about the lore, but the very fact is that by simply placing the skins and leaving it at that, you are the one accepting mediocrity.

Mediocrity is to assure and reassure again and again that you don’t want to see High elves being playable because you personally don’t like it, while you are just having bad takes about it and in fact not respecting the lore you very naively say to care so much about, that’s mediocrity for you.

Mediocrity is to come to threads you dislike to say you dislike them while spouting arguments that have been long ago proven ridiculous, useless and nonsensical, that’s mediocrity and oh boy you came with truckloads of it.

Mediocrity is to believe you know the lore while saying you care for it, yet saying things like High elves being extinct, when people have been discussing and reading and playing the game for literal years while the only thing you have is your spiteful view of the matter, that serves nothing but to make you believe you know how things are, that’s damn mediocrity for you.

You are mediocre and a damn shame who from now on is gonna feed my ignore list for a very long time and I expect nobody else is stupid enough to give you any more feedback about your useless stance that nobody should pay attention for the sake of nobody having to entertain boring naysayers that do nothing but to be a pain in the back and seeking to see others being denied things that can’t even affect them in any way shape or form.

Alliance had and has still highelves and yet they are not playable, for.e.g. Silver covenant. If people wanted to play blood elves or void elves they would have done that. But we want highelves not blood elves or void elves. And tbh no skin color, hair customization from blood elves wont change void elves to highelves, they
are still void.elves and community will still ask for playable highelves.

So you want plain chicken when you already have chicken with seasoning and peppers? How boring.

My only issue at this point is the forums being filled with this tired topic. It’s not going to happen.
