Yes it is, people against gay marriage are against something that has ZERO effect on their lives.
People against High Elves are against something that has ZERO effect on them.
Keeping the difference real life vs game, you can clearly see that both people are the same. They feed on everyone else being as miserable as they are, that is the only reason they would oppose something that doesn't impact them in any way shape or form.
We're not trying to shut you guys up. As you said, Blizzard asked for feedback and opinions - we're giving our opinion on why they shouldn't be added.

Its not supposed to be for your faction, its for the Alliance.
Most of the votes who want the high elves, are from the blue faction.

That might be his intention, but I don't think it invalidates the people with proper game and lore related arguments, just the ones saying no because they don't want it period.

I've heard alot of reasons, some are very valid ones we have had long discussions about. But from my experience the majority of the nay sayers don't actually have that same reason, which is why I ask every time I can.

Well I haven't been against High Elves for Alliance at all, so long as they have a unique model. After thinking about it further though, I am against it. I want them for Horde instead.

Alliance usually goes like "i want a whiter elf on my faction nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow" and horde is like "oh we didnt get shattered hand maghar as an allied race, well lets just play the game and hope it happens one day."

You actually believe someone's choice of faction in a video game is an acceptable measurement of one's maturity?

I've met more rude people while playing Horde.. But do I believe every single Horde player is an a-hole? No.. I realize that that's just my personal experience, and I won't let that make me paint an entire group of people based on what a few d-bags did earlier..

Actually its both trolling and personal experience. I just dont understand why alliance wants a whiter void elf renamed high elf when horde doesnt talk about renaming redeyed maghar orcs Blackrock orcs or minor things like that.

The Mag'har orcs already have the shattered hand option though, don't they? The pale skin tone with tons of scars and a school of piercings. If not shattered hand then who are those supposed to be?
