Zugsam Actually its both trolling and personal experience. I just dont understand why alliance wants a whiter void elf renamed high elf when horde doesnt talk about renaming redeyed maghar orcs Blackrock orcs or minor things like that.
To be fair.. Alliance players have asked for High Elves quite literally since the game started.. I remember seeing these threads back in '05.. It didn't pop up now with everyone thinking "wow I don't want white elves, I want skin colored ones". It would be like if the Horde got random Blue Orcs instead of the Brown Orcs they've been asking for.
To those who want High Elves, it's not a "white Void Elf".. They are the most requested race with a pretty large margin..
Sure, maybe you want something 110% unique.. Like Naga or Tortollan. But you don't have to understand it to respect their wishes, even if you disagree.
Well, the Horde got every kind of orc under the rainbow. (Except for demon corrupted red ones, but that wouldn't make sense).
Also, the Horde asked for brown orcs since TBC when they first saw them.. And now they're getting them.. So why would you see them complain?
I personally would much rather see Half-Elves and Half-Ogres, as they would be more unique and interesting.. But if people want High Elves I'm not going to call them idiots for it..

A thread lasting longer does not mean that you are any more or less likely to make changes to the game.
Its the content that matter and this is not content.
If it keeps going on this way blizzard wont care about the thread at all.
It says its about high elves but very little of it is right now.
Blizzard wont look at what is happening right now and say "oh go on then. lets add them".
Mortiz i do believe the point was that the bump does not mean anything as the post was allready on the top spot on the front page.
Read my explanation to Mortiz. If you're opposed to High Elves and don't want to see the discussion go on, the best thing you can do is to
not post in the thread.
Even a "lul lul lul yu guyz idiuts" supports the thread indirectly, even if it's already on top. Because someone might reply to that when it's not on top, which brings it back up again.. Ad infinitum.

Not the case personally i want it to die because it is littearlly 6-10people at max who are actually talking but you are also IGnoring what the other side is saying and just talking over each others points.
You are repeating what you have allready said in 4-10 posts for some of them just changing how you write it so it is not a ctrl+c, ctrl +v situation.

I though you were trying to tell people that did not want high elves added to the game that by commenting they are keeping the thread alive, thus increasing the visibility to blizzard and making it more likely they will be added.
Sorta doing a "haha no matter what we win" kinda thing.

This is the forums.. For a game with a huge following, there's an astoundingly low percentage of forum participation.. So even if 1000 people were discussing the topic regularly, it would barely be registered as it wouldn't even be 0.1% of the playerbase.
Secondly, we're the Euro forums.. Nothing we say have any sway whatsoever..
Lastly, there's no new points to be made.. Everyone has already said everything there is to say on this topic and exactly

And I've met a lot of great people on the discord.

I can understand that, reading over it again I see it can be interpreted whichever way..
I am well aware that the High Elves will most likely never be added.. But honestly that doesn't bother me much. As anyone who has read my posts know, I am more pro "Half-Elf" than "High Elf" anyway.
I just fail to understand those who drop in just to say "lulul yu guyz stupeed for wnting Haigh Elfs!"

Just give us high elves it wont hurt anyone. Only horde players who are unnaturally jealous dont want us to get them. Anyway void elves cant even have black hair only some weird !@# colors that noone wants.
Also an idea for their racial that it should be a defensive dispel 8yard range. like reverse arcane torrent. Its op but aliance racials are crap.
