Hello Blizzard,
I understand that in 2007, Draenei locations and Blood Elves locations were implemented as a part of the Outland map so that people not having TBC cannot enter them. However, this is obsolete now in TBC classic. As a TBC classic player I would find more comfortable (and I believe I am not alone) if these locations were part of the Azeroth map or at least if the flightpaths were merged with the original flightpaths in Azeroth. The necessity of using the portal in Undercity or the ship in Auberdine if you want to go e.g. from Tanaris to Exodar as an Alliance player or from Badlands to Silvermoon as a Horde player, respectivelly is really inconvenient. Would be a big problem to implement that?
It is a biggish problem at least. If you swim around the top of the map, you still swim under BE starting area, not around it I do not know enough of programming, but it seems not to be as straightforward as we think, else why not have done it already?
Seeing as they didnt even do it when they remade the entierty of the old world in Cata it would most likley break the game if they even tried to do it, WoW runs on a base of Warcraft 3s spagethi code and we all know what happens when blizzard tries to touch it just look at the succubi
Flight paths ARE merged with azeroth, you just have to discover the flight paths first, just like with any flight path. At least Silvermoon is integrated with EK, you just go through the portal, not sure about Exodar.
Contrary to your belief, teleporting from UC to Silvermoon instantly is better than waiting 5 minutes on the fp.
