Quel’thalas is Sin’dorei territory. And currently they stand with the Horde. Ren’dorei are outcasts and have no say in this matter.
I don’t recall the Alliance ever wanting Silvermoon. All that was asked for were the playable high elves, and that’s what we got with the new customisation for the void elves in Shadowlands.

On the MMO-C forums there is a lunatic who advocates for the blood elves to be thrown out of their home and make Alleria queen of alliance controlled Quel’thalas. That is what I am fighting against. And I will succeed.
I mean you can fight but there is nothing to succeed on.

I didn’t mean to be creepy, i wanted to be your new friend to play, and being around in Stormwind, even to meet M+,raid etc…
We have those here too. For example they will sometimes start threads screaming about bias or how the game’s story and characters should be rewritten to fit their head canon. Occasionally they’ll even demand everyone they dislike should be killed off.
