this quest gives an item to eliminate plants .
when you do it will not count at all .

i was wondering as well i just tried it and it doesnt count for me either
From what I can see on the quest comments, the kill does not count if they are killed by someone overpowered.
Some have found by either unequipping some items or indeed getting Rez Sickness debuff, it works.. not ideal, but it will hopefully allow you to continue.

I did got back and switch to sub rogue .
was using blades ilvl 20 and it worked.
thanks for the tip .
still bugged
removing gear did not work
rez sickness did (you need 2 run to get all flower because of the 5sec cd on the item)
