In this quest “The resting blade” can’t be interacted with to pick it up.
Turning off addons, enable/disable WM, relogging doesn’t help.

Same here, abandon also didn’t work.
@blizzard please fix, this is a major quest line that is bugged now

Yes, the Warmode and permade groups didn’t work for me either. However, there is a workaround. You need to stand near the quest item and completely log out of the game for 20-25 minutes. When you log back in, I was able to pick up the quest item. Of course, I also performed a game repair beforehand, so it’s unclear whether the game repair helped or if it was the 20-25 minute logout.
But I can confirm that I completed this quest.
