Hi,
This quest is bugged. There are workers to be rescued, you have to talk to them but they dont react, there is no possibiity to talk to them to finish the quest.
I’ve seen a topic in US forums and the problem is occuring through many servers. Also haven’t been fixed for the last 3 days.

Same issue for me today, and with the “need to be level 70” bug, it seems this content is falling to bits?

Experiencing the same issue as OP, unable to interact with the ‘Beleaguered Explorer’ NPCs.
Which leaves us rather beleaguered at the moment…

Still seems to be an issue. Tried several times dropping quest and relogging but nope.

I’ve submitted a bug regarding this quest. I tried abandoning and taking the quest again several times, but it just doesn’t work, cannot talk to those NPCs I have to rescue.

It’s the last questline keeping me from my achievement “Sojourner of the Waking Shores”. Quite annoying. I’ve also reported the bug to Blizzard, hopefully it will be sorted soon.

It’s still not working. I have the quest and check everyday to see if something changed. Not even the weekly reset did anything…
This is still not working. So frustrating! I’ve also reported it. Tried /reloading, abandoning quest etc. Is there a macro we can use? I’ve tried keybindings to interact but just does the same as right-click. Can we type a script / macro to make it change a property on the /target to make it count?? Come on Blizz, give us a workaround at least!
Tried doing this quest today, 1st June 2024, still not working, i can not interact with the npcs i need to rescue. Hoping that this bug will be fixed soon.
I am also experiencing this issue, unable to interact with NPC’s to complete the quest.
This is so stupid! It shouldn’t take so long for this quest to get fixed. I’ve completed every other zone but The Walking Shores. I hope they fix it soon.
It was bugged for me too. I re-logged and it was working.
still bugged. logged out still bugged, abandoned… still bugged.
Has anyone tried not turning in the other two quests before finishing this one? Does it make a difference?
Only the three explorers in the western part of the area responded, all others couldn’t be talked to.
I have no new information. Just saying that I see considerable traffic on this bug in the US Big Report forum
Well, sadly this quest is still bugged. Hopefully it is fixed soon.
