Quest unlock for skip for end boss? (old raid)

I’m today late found guide said we can now skip for this since 10.2.6
Reason I was back farm as we got warband. Something wonder how I can wipe and too farm mount,

I’m surpised blizz gave our skip for end boss.
But, NPC give quest. If I did once 4 times and unlock it.
Alts get free skip, dont need do again quest, right?
