i have a level 1 orc priest. can i quest with him in the undead starting zone ?
Why not do the new starter area where you can be together.
We always used to be barred from the very first starter quests with players of a different race. I don’t think that has changed. You can meet up after you’ve both done your respective starters though.
You should be able to quest in all the different starting zones due to the level scaling.

can i use my level 1 orc (created before the new starting zone), walk to the forsaken territory and start there as if i was an undead character (their quests) ?

well, i had to pick a race and i will definitely not pick troll. undead is warlock, blood elf is mage/paladin and tauren is shaman/druid.
To my knowledge, few to none of the quests care whether you started in a different zone or what race you are. I think I even went to the Draenei starting zone once and was surprised to see the quest text acnowledged that I was not Draenei. Well, at the start, anyway. And yeah, all the quests worked fine except maybe the very first NPC that’s in your face when you start as Draenei.

Orcs cannot be priest. Unless you mean brown orcs, which you start at level 10

ahhhhhhhhhh you are right. my other alt (level 1 draenei priest)is just above my level 12 orc, and he is a shaman.

arrrgh i dont wanna play shaman… shaman sux. but he is my only low level horde (with cool name)…
guess ill have to do with another alt. might have to do server transfer.
You generally can, except in the Gnome starting zone. We only accept irradiated almost Leper Gnomes there. (Also I think one of the quest chains in Mulgore is Tauren only)
The only starter zones you can’t do are the Goblin and Panda one’s. all the other Horde starter zones are open to you.
Correction, the BE starter zone quests won’t be available to you.

If you have a lvl 10 allied race orc you can still take it to the undead starting zone and do those quests there, no problem.
Yes you can but perhaps since blizzard allows you to choose which zone to start they could add all the zones to for non new players
you can, but you need to travel by yourself. And considering you’re lvl one with zero flight paths unlocked and no mount with higher than 60% speed AT BEST, it’ll take a while.
Then again, getting to undercity isn’t gonna take that long. So you’re good.
