What happens if I don’t move my Wotlk character to Cataclysm classic?

@Spìte: Given the current information, there will be no WotLK era realms, so your characters will advance to Cataclysm automatically, whether you want to or not.

Blizzard say they are “listening to feedback” about Wrath Era, whatever that means.
So make an ingame suggestion if you want Wrath Era.

So the transfer will be automatic and I don’t have to do anything? Great. Thank you for the help. I didn’t know how the transfer worked exactly.
Its an expansion…like the other ones you’ve progressed through at now 26k achievement points…
Last time it was exactly like that from TBC to WOTLK, u could not do anything, there was no choice, was totaly automated.
Nope, all of them got transferred automatically, you’re remembering things wrong.
And how exactly are SoM transers connected to TBC->Wrath transfers? Perhaps you could read the topic for once?
Except that isn’t any kind of transfer. It’s (d)evolution.
I’m not sure how I misunderstood it that much. Maybe because they used the word “transfer” or the post was originally in the Classic Era forum not here in the Wrath forum.
The post is for Wotlk => Cata and not for SoM
