Does the matching back items hide backsheated items or is it a clipping mess?
Probably this. If it already is that way with regular cloaks we can’t really expect too much on that front.

Good question. Hope it’ll hide the weapons. It’ll look crap if we have a shield or a weapon clip with the back wings.
I’m hoping it works the same way as the tauren and vulpera heritage backs. they both hide the weapon
The backpack from the refer-a-friend renowned explorer set hides bachsheathed weapons as well.
When I checked the PTR a few weeks ago. I was looking up new item models in the Dressing Room and back sheathed weapons were hidden with the new “back” items. But when I clicked to preview the “back” item and then the weapon (or visa versa), the weapon was visible again and it was clipping through. These were the Covenant back transmogs if I remember it right.
I’m not sure how it will work in the end, though. It would be nice if they could make an option to show or hide the weapon, smaller weapons wouldn’t be noticeable issue for clipping and look even with better together with these “back” wings, imo.
I also hope for an option to change weapon sheathing position as well (on the back or on the side), I’m waiting for this for a long time, I think it wouldn’t be an issue because any weapons that Monks use sheath on the back so it should be simple with an option on Transmog / UI window.
