Hi! I’m a little confused with the new feral druid talents.
I’ve heard quite a few times now that Blizzard’s plan was to slow down feral’s APM in The War Within expansion.
But after spending a bit of time trying to setup my plater addon on the training dummies, i’ve noticed that the 15 second burst window during Tiger’s Fury is a bit…small?
I find myself struggling to refresh Bloodtalons and then snapshotting another Rip before my Tiger’s Fury wears off.
The other thing that confuses me a little is the the Rip duration with the Circle of Life talent (Faster Bleeds), Rip’s duration is now 19 seconds, Tiger’s Fury is 15 seconds but the pandemic window for efficiently refreshing Rip is 5 seconds, does that mean I have like 1 second to re-apply Rip?
That is not slowing down feral, that is actually speeding it up, quite a bit tbh.
Could it be that I haven’t gotten used to it yet?
I’m using the Tiger’s Tenacity talent (Stronger bleeds/combo points).
Or should I be using Raging Fury? (5 second increased duration on Tiger’s Fury).
Seems to me like Tiger’s Tenacity is gonna be the clear winner in TWW.
I’m really waiting for those damn hero talents to get released lo, if any fellow druid players could hand out some tips or something i’d be grateful!
Yeah, I found that as well when playing on beta. The duration of TF and Rip duration do not align well. It felt better when taking Veinripper, the talent that extends Rip duration, but not sure if this will be a competitive choice.
The “slowing down”, I think, referred to the slower energy regeneration which means you will build CP more slowly and won’t spam PW in AoE. But with points in Tireless Energy, it did not feel too slow for my taste.
Oh lawd, I forgot about Veinripper, thanks a lot du!
After doing some more testing I now realize that i’m not gonna be able to play with both Circle of Life AND Tiger’s Tenacity, 15 second duration on Tiger’s Fury with quicker bleeds is just too stressful for me! x(
Appreciate it, definitely trying out veinripper.
