Question about fire mage

Hello, currently leveling fire mage, but it is pretty boring to just stand while waiting for something to cast, does it get better later? Like more instant casts with more crit? Or just give up and level monk?

Ye, it gets a lot better, especially with leggos and conduits. Try the other specs while your levelling. Arcane can be fun just for the missles and tends to be op when levelling.

Does very good dmg but has issues with utility and being in melee for aoe dmg, possibley mana use too. Haven’t played it this expac though.

Very good damage potential. Just ridiculously good damage done right, but highly punished by movement.

Also being in melee for maximum aoe damage is just more dangerous than the equivalent with fire and frost.
