Question about flying mount

hi,

i am new player at lvl 63. Should I grind gold for epic ground mount first, or wait to level 70 and go staright for flying mount? I understand that the cheap flying mount is also 100% ground speed, so no need to waste 1000g on epic ground mount while im leveling? Thanks

The riding skill is required (which is the expensive part). You can just decide to not get the mount itself (which is kinda cheap so you probably get it too).

Or do I need to buy both? I find this very confusing and know how much to save for this

you are forced to pay 600g for learning 100%ground mount before you can pay the 800g for flying mount.

so what you can save? is just a 90g for the mount itself, not a big deal, u should get the 100%ground at this point

So all my costs for mount are these:

600g for 100% ground mount and 90g for mount
800g for flying slow + 100g for mount
5000g for epic flying and 1000g for mount?

Total 7600g?

the epic flying mount itself costs only 200g

But yeah it’s expensive.

There’s some rep discounts involved, I’m sure I paid like 570 g for my epic ground mounts, but I can’t remember if it’s the same with the flying mounts?

Not the same for Flying, the flying mount vendor does not have a reputation like Org/ironforge etc for each specific race.

The perks of being a druid, Expert flying for like 8g or something and no need for a mount :stuck_out_tongue:
