Question about HotKeyNet and other programs like that

Hey, since multiboxing was banned I haven’t had any program on my computer that could be used for sending keystrokes to windows.

However these programs can do more than that and aren’t solely used for multiboxing.
For example, with HotKeyNet I could open multiple programs to specific locations on my screen with specific window sizes, all with one keybind. Very useful for stock and crypto trading for example (also video editing).

I’m wondering if battle.net automatically detects just the HotKeyNet program being open (and bans my account…) OR if I actually have to use the program to manipulate WoW windows?

Quick google search revealed that some people are getting banned even if they don’t use HotKeyNet to send keys to WoW windows but just moving WoW windows around to specific locations (useful for classic WoW summon selling for example).

I’m afraid to use these programs at all now but would be nice to know what gets you banned and what does not.

Basically what I want to know:
Do you get insta banned just for having HotKeyNet on your computer?
Do you get insta banned just for using HotKeyNet with programs other than WoW?
Do you get insta banned just for using HotKeyNet with WoW but NOT sending keystrokes?

There have been reports of people getting banned for having AutoHotKey running, but not using it for WoW.

I suspect that having things installed won’t flag you, but having anything that could be used for input broadcasting or automation running is something I’d avoid for the sake of safety.
