I am aware that the spec restriction gets removed. And that you can mix and match with 1handers.
But I am left wondering if they still can be mogged onto different itemtypes.
For example. I, as a warlock have an 1h and oh, and Ive mogged the scepter of Sargeras onto them.
So the question is that the above still is possible, or if you need a staff to mog the scepter of Sargeras in 9.0.
Frost DK can mogs 1H over 2h, same for druids , so I think lock can too.

Its only working if you are on destro spec.
For example if you go affi or demo, which isnt the scepter the primary artifact tmog, then u must have a 2 handed staff to use the tmog.
Hrm, so if i wanted to use the skull of the manari with dagger artifact for demonology while destro, I then need an 1h and oh after all?
Yes, the tmog skins will be added as a regular tmog (to staff, offhand, ect subslots).

Just spotted this:
Mages and Warlocks can transmog wands to daggers and swords. That is unexpected. But I figure that you cant mog swords to daggers
