Question about Mail

So ,

If I send a Mail to my second char and then the char from which I sent the said Mails dies … will the Mail still be there to be opened by my second char if I didn’t open them? Or the Mails which hasn’t been opened, will disappear once the first char who sent the Mails will die?

Mails are send immideatly. In Wrath arriving depends if that character is on your battle.net account (instants) or not (1hour wait), but I don’t remember if that is the case on Classic. Still the mail is out as soon as you press the send button. Usual mail is kept for 30 days upon arrival in destination, then send back and kept at sender’s mailbox for another 30 days and then automatically deleted.

This really not answers question. If sender die before one hour wait is up - what then?
And is one hour wait also for alts in Era and HC.

Well his ghost will recive mail. I belive even of he deleted his character and restored shortly after the mail would be still there only expiring after 30 day after returning from someone it was send to originally.

I think he ment the person that SENDT the mail dies. Not the one getting it.

Mail sent before deleting character appears as having come from “Unknown”. I checked when I was creating characters just to send starting clothes to other race/class combinations and delete them, and this happened.

Maybe it could have changed, but that was the case back before Classic TBC launch.
