Question about Midnight bundles regional prices

Hello everyone. Think this is my first post here ever. And boy is this a strange one.

So, Midnight pre-order is out, and the regional prices and description I am seeing are…strange, to say the least. I bought TWW Epic Edition for 26.999KZT, let’s round up to 27k, right, now Midnight price for Epic Edition right now is 50.999KZT, and in the description it lists TWW itself as an item, as well as saying that buying this pack WILL NOT re-grant me TWW (which I have already anyway).

I asked two GMs about this, or rather, opened 2 tickets and got conflicting information, so not sure if those were real answers.

Either I am dumb, which I would happily admit, or somehow I am being forced into buying a thing twice, if I want to continue playing WoW. How can you even get re-granted (or in this case NOT) an addon? If I would be just coming to WoW, then I’d need to get TWW and Midnight as a package, that is understandable, but this is not my case and why would the bundle not be discounted, considering I own a huge part of it that probably gives the large price difference. The part where they say that TWW will not be re-granted even sounds like “yeah, we put this into the bundle, you won’t get it if you own it already, but hey, you pay for it anyway”, which doesn’t make any sense to me.

If anyone have any insight on this, would love to hear it.

Generally this offer targets those who would like to return now, but haven’t gotten TWW.

If you already have TWW, you will not get TWW. Eventually, this will get rolled into the base game so you would only need Midnight.

Checking from my own shop up to Epic edition, I see a myriad of goodies. But the price is not different from the previous version.

This seems more like a regional currency adjustment or having more likely been bought during a discount round - I know they did one a couple months after release which slashed prices dramatically.

It’s a marketing decision to not grant you anything if you already own TWW. We’ve had those with previous expansions where people wanted to swap it for boosts, credit, tokens, well, anything? But the stance is firm.

Please do not ticket GM’s anymore about this, they won’t be able to help you nor assist with suggestions.

Should you want to have something for TWW when owning TWW after purchasing the TWW/Midnight bundle, you can suggest this through the ingame suggestion panel.

Thank you for the reply.

I can definitely say it was not during the discount, since I’ve checked previous expansion prices with a friend who paid in KZT for quite some time by now, and also found an article on wowhead when in SL they introduced those prices, to verify that the price was more or less the same, as I said, for the recent 3 expansions, notwithstanding the discounts they do have from time to time. Also we both had the early access for the recent expansion, which wouldn’t be the case if we bought it on a discount.

But if you say that it’s the same price for you as it was for TWW, then I’ll hope and wait till they have adjusted them for my region, or as you said, when they will roll TWW into the main game (which I do remember was the case with previous expansions) so that I will have to pay only for Midnight.

I didn’t know that GMs can’t help with that, apologies if that is the case, it’s just that I couldn’t find information on this anywhere, well, proper information that is.

Ah then it must be a regional currency adjustment indeed, as it’s still 89,99 for me comparing Epic to Epic. That’s quite unfortunate.
