Hello, im just returning to game after a year, i’m looking to play monk mostly in PvP. I was wondering, for esthetic purposes, i’d like to play dual wield. I see online high rated players all play 2 handed. Is it really mandatory ? Is the difference noticeable ?

All about stats 2 hand have nearly the same and you can play them
Apparently, 2 hand will feel a lil slower, but have more burst. Dual wield will feel faster, but overall damage will be about the same. Most people just go for 2h due to it being easier to obtain and the damage profile fits PVP situations a lil better (But not a huge difference). Good thing is, the dual fist weapons from legion (artifact) will transmog over 2h weapons.
