Question about Season 1 Tier acquisition

I am a tier set collector, but been somewhat away recently. Is there a way for me to get the tier pieces from Season 1 except endless queues in Nerubar Palace LFR or trying to get people to do normal runs and heroic in the same place? (Which will most likely be impossible)

I think I recall in Dragonflight there was a vendor that allow you to acquire pieces and you could use the catalyst to transform the pieces into tier pieces from earlier seasons?

Yes there is:

  1. Go to Siren Isle and kill rares and bosses in caves to get currency.
  2. Use use currency to buy 584 items from a vendor.
  3. Convert items to LFR tier items at catalyst in Dornogal.

Note this will only work for LFR now. Before you could upgrade the items to get normal too.

Allright. And the season 1 catalyst charges will continue to go up in season 2 also?

Not sure, but to get full set of 584s takes miniscule amount of time. I would do it before reset just in case.

I believe based on Dragonflight it’s supposed to be free but they have a knack for not doing it until later or it being bugged. Best to do it before Weds if you can.

Also, Season 4 will recycle Nerub-Ar Palace, so you can do it as current content then.

I don’t think there is going to be a Season 4 in TWW i feel like blizzard is kinda done with it because they will have next expansion ready for us instead of cringe season 4

Won’t necessarily be the same mog. The last couple they’ve picked one set. Last fated season we voted and picked one for each class

I think the opposite, I doubt they will manage to bring Midnight in February 2026 to ensure we don’t “need” a 4th season. We will get a 4th season, but shorter than in SL or DF, maybe just 3 months long.

So the answer is here. Season 1 items are free to turn into Season 1 set pieces.
