I’ve tried to find the answer to these questions, but found conflicting information, so I’m hoping someone more up-to-date can clear them up for me.
Do head and shoulder enchants for low level twinks still work in classic like they used to in vanilla?
Could these enchants still be applied in TBC 2.4.3 back in the day?
Assuming you had a 19 vanilla twink with some enchants that could no longer be applied to his gear in TBC 2.4.3, what happened to those items and/or enchants when the game updated to TBC 2.4.3?

The only way to apply shoulder enchants back then as far as I can remember was an exploit where you used your main to apply a scryers/aldor enchant and sent the shoulders via mail just as the enchant cast finished. My memory is a bit fuzzy though.
So you will have to settle for Lesser arcanums on head.
Enchants by items will have a minimum item level to be put on. Since we’ll start and finish in 2.4.3, aldor scryer and other reputation enchants that were previously mailable will not be so.
When the change hit, back then items that had an invalid enchant due to item level, had there enchant become inactive. I assume this will be the case in TBC
Tbh i would seriously check the talent calculators for each of your twinks to check if you want to keep them in classic or TBC this will differ for each class. Also with some low level changes and item changes in TBC you might also want to go over those changes especially if your nearly xp capped and check if its not more prudent to just build a new TBC twink, and keep your old twink in Classic
