Question about versions

I am an old WoW user that has returned recently buy buying 6 months worth of playing. And it has been nice being back! However, I am wondering how i can see which “subscription” i now have. Because I started all over again and in my battlenet account I see the logo WoW (where i am playing now), but I also have the W classic logo (not installed; and it is called World of Warcraft; Wrath of the Lich King classic). Does the latte one contain my old characters? and Can i combine these two? Or are they not compatible?
Any help approciated

Not sure if it’s not a weekend topic.

I would like to get this one

They are two separate games, but the subscription allows you to play both of them. Your old characters would be in the non-Classic version, but you said you started over (?) and no you can’t combine them, again, they are 2 games, your characters and anything you achieve/obtain will be separate.

Your toons will be probably at the “World of Warcraft” version (which is Retail), as Classic came in during 2019 and is basically the remastered old game.

Of those, WotLK Classic is the latest Classic version you can play at - don’t bother with the third version, WoW Classic, as it will be closed soon from what I’ve heard. (Yes, there’s 2 of these - some players wanted to experience a fresh Vanilla over and over but ultimately it wasn’t that much played.)

Thanx all! Then i will continue to play the WoW version (latest)
