One can block players through Battle.net, that is no mystery. However, when I open the Ignore list in WoW, there is not only the Ignored section (i.e. ignored characters) but also Blocked Invite section. I wonder whether those are all the people I have blocked on Battle.net or if those are people who tried to sent me an invite while blocked.
I can’t quite believe some of them would want to do that.
This seems to suggest that will block ignored players from whispering you, receiving friends requests or group invites.
Blocking a Player
To ignore a player in the Battle.net Desktop App, follow these steps:
- Right-click the player portrait or the Battletag in chat and select Block.
2.Note: If the player is currently in your Friends list, you must remove them first.*- Click Block to confirm.
To block a player who has sent an unwanted friend request, click their Battletag and select Block Communication.
While ignored, the player cannot whisper you, and you will not receive their friend requests or group invites.
