When levelling a Alt to 120 are you required to go through the war campaign quests to make sure everything is unlocked for you on this character or is it automatically done due to a other character having completed this?
Depends on what exactly you mean…
You can buy a map at the harbor which will unlock all flight paths in Zuldazar and Kul Tiras for that character. All but those which you can only get if you do quests for it.
So the 3 Flightpoints in Kul Tiras which you can unlock by doing 5-6 quests won’t be included. But those don’t take longer than 10 minutes anyways so it’s not a big deal.
There is also this 1 Flightpoint in Vol’dun outside of a cave, it’s part of a questline so that’s not included either
Kings rest is open. So is Boralus. You have to do the quest if you want to access the first flying points (or well, if you dont want to run there at least) and at least one to get general access to Zandalar/Kul’Tiras. Mission Table Flying Points are locked but the missions show up at the table as soon as you unlock the table
Wasn’t their talk of account wide rep? I have the reps on this character so effectively I can’t unlock the dark irons when I obtain a 120 alliance with the war camp done then because of the 7th legion rep?
Cant answer you that, but i kinda doubt it. Whats account wide at least are the Champion of Azeroth neck rewards but not the rep itself for instance (like buying the items for a rep you already completed on another character cant be bought).
How about the war-front elite sets, I’m asking yourself you seem to be rather knowledgeable its saying its a limited time set? That can’t be right for people who progressively collect transmogs? Who haven’t yet had the time to level al armour type classes to 120
The war fronts are save to assume to be accessible throughout BFA just like Legion had its respective content. So until BFA is over youre free to farm the Warfront elite sets, even though they are a pain to obtain in the first place. The War fronts are also not tied to reputation or quests.
We are now heading towards BFA Tier 2 with the release of the Siege of Dazar’Alor. Which will be followed by Tier 3 and Tier 4 respectively.
Thank you very much Kretias for all the information, I just assumed it would only be available per season if thats not the case I can level my respected alts from cloth / leather / mail / plate I should get them by the end of this expansion
That rep sadly doesn’t carry over, not even if you did a faction change.
Rep isn’t accountwide. What is accountwide is rep-bound transmogs (now if unlocked on one toon you can use them on any regardless of rep on that toon) and for the Heart of Azeroth if you have 1 character revered with CoA your alts (from 120) can upgrade the neck as well.
As far as I know that’s all that was changed about reputations.
