The broker race that act as vendors and traders in Oribos - they are made up of blue/white energy(look similar to Arbiter) and judging from player’s interaction with relics of First Ones, they must have some sort of connection with First Ones too as they can also enter Maw at will. Not sure about whether they could also escape Maw at will but since they sent scouts to Maw I assume they could escape or at least make contact with those outside Maw. Perhaps they could be agents of First Ones or race related with First Ones?
So far very little is known about them. All I can tell for sure, is that there were similarities between them and ethereals, and thar they are “guests” in Oribos that arrived a bit earlier than us, they collect knowledge, creatures, sell those things, and they can traverse Inbetween, whatever it is. Other than that - who knows.
Maybe they are more or less “united”. Maybe different cartels have conflicting interests. So many questions.
It is possible that everything has some sort of connection to them. From Oribos dialogue:
Attendant Scribe: This view always reminds me of the magnificence of the Purpose.
Attendant Scribe: Words of truth, my friend. The Purpose has a hand in all creation.Attendant Scribe: Such beauty could not just be mere chance. Surely this bears the handiwork of the First Ones.
Attendant Scribe: Indeed. The Purpose guides creation with the eye of a master artisan. Mere function is an insufficient display of its craft.
But they are definitely interested in finding more things related to them, which naturally extends to us.

Isn’t Vanari or whatever her name is stuck in Maw? Pointing to the fact that they might not all be able to freeling navigate the maw.
I suspect their is some sort of connection between them and the ethereals a lot of their technology has a similiar motif

They’re quite interesting actually. I mean what’s up with the suspect broker that keeps running after us in Oribos to ask about Ve’nari?
I personally think at least some of them are the Jailer’s spies. Zovaal says in a cinematic “we have eyes everywhere” or something similar. I couldn’t think of better spies than these guys.
Seemingly neutral, just minding their own business, nobody seems to pay special attention to them.
