Question Regarding: War Mode PvP

How is it a bad light? It’s just down to perception. Some like it, some don’t.

From my point of view, there is nothing bad or wrong about playing a video game as designed. WM is PvP. I have never heard of another PvP mode or game where players didn’t understand about being attacked. It doesn’t make sense to me.

The op was why do lowbie gankers do what they do, and is it considered grief. Fun and no. Certain things are against ToS, but because WM can simply be turned off, most PvP is no problem. In fact, more likely the one being ganked gets banned, if they choose to respond with abusive chat. That is against ToS.

From the op type of player’s perspective, they don’t fully understand the fun reasons and likely never will. Because they themselves don’t consider it fun. Stalemate.

The debate on PvP morals has been from the start. WoW WPvP is not a straightfoward PvP like in FPS games. PvE has been mixed into it. That’s where the confusion has come from. But, the way I see it, I love the rich WPvP experience we get, love it. But others are destined to never ‘get’ WPvP.

It’s all under player control. Everything in WM is about choices.
For example, I heard lowbies were getting ganked in Lakeshire Redridge. Had lots of fun yesterday killing as many Horde as possible in Lakeshire. And now it’s my hearth. Player choices. A rich, anything can happen PvP environment.
