Do I need both the MH and OH on the SAME character, or can I say, have the mainhand on my Warrior, offhand on my Rogue and then do the quest on my Demon Hunter?
To get the quest, you need to have the achievement, and for that, you need both weapons on one character.
Balls, that’ll slow the process down for sure. I think I’m going to make a second DH just to increase my chances, it’s so slow with other classes without the chain skip.

do u must do timewalking to get the trasmog ? isi t not inaff to do BT and get bouth blades to get the trasmog ?
Yes, you need to do the BT timewalking too, having both blades is not enough. And the transmog is limited to DHs too.
only rison to get this blades from BT is that they scale to 50 in shadowlands just like thunderfury does aswell.
While I do not like the transmog restriction (I have both warglaives on this monk, and would love to mog them), it does make some sense: DHs are the only class that can equip warglaives. The BT ones would’ve been restricted to DHs, would they have been available in TBC. The only reason the other classes can equip it, is because they came before DHs, and before legendary transmogs were even an option.

Like I said, if DHs were available in TBC, they would have been warglaives. It’s in the name, they look like warglaives, the only reason they are not is a technicality: warglaives as a weapon type did not exist back then, yet, they wanted them to drop from Illidan. So they made them swords.
They can’t turn them into warglaives now that DHs do exist, because quite a lot of people have them, and should be able to equip them regardless. So they restricted the transmog to DHs, with a quest chain, implemented before legendary transmogs in general existed.

But it doesn’t? I mean, https://shadowlands.wowhead.com/item=19019/thunderfury-blessed-blade-of-the-windseeker lists it as ilevel 29, requiring level 25 to equip. That doesn’t sound like scaling to me. As far as I know, the raids in SL will not scale to 50, they will be scaled down, yes, you’ll be able to clear BT and such at 50, likely earlier too, but that doesn’t mean that its loot will scale.
whats this chromie time thing then allow u to level in any zone u want in what oder u want ? whats the poit in hole the system if loot does not scale ? it was ment to be like party sync gives 120 loot from level 1 quests even …
Zones scale, raids do not.
Most zones scale with level now too, they will do the same in Shadowlands, it’s just that the level ranges will be tweaked heavily. Raids never scaled, and will not in Shadowlands either.
