Questions about alts and achievements

I got a quick dumb question… If i have a character that got all pathfinders and i delete it, do i lose my flying ability??

Nope you do not .

Achievements are account bound, so it doesn’t matter if you change server or delete your characters.

Won’t work if you have achievements on an EU account and try to play on a US account tho

Thanks guys for the help!

The one thing to note here, is that you have to COMPLETE the achivement. If you have like… half the achivements for Pathfinder, and delete your char, you will have to start over.

Yeah it does. actually with playing a bit non stop and without having any of the pathfinders cause i m pretty knew in the game, i lvl up very fast and lost many of the story and i dont want that. Hunter is my favorite class and thats what have as a main. but i thought to get me all pathfinders and start a new one, doing all quests and stuff, suck as much information about the story till now. I ll keep him ofcourse till the new one gets to kul tiras and after that i m thinking to delete him to make space for a new char later if i need to.

Well, I get why you wanna do this, and I get the challenge that you like in it ( I am doing this myself)
but you should know that it will take a VERY long time, and that it will require you to stop your xp at 60-80-90 and 110 if you wan’t to see it all while it being current to you.
On this char I have quested almost all of Eastern Kingdom, And I have more than 1,5 day played… at level 60 :stuck_out_tongue: (and I havent done dungeons before I locked my xp) And I still miss ALL of Kalimdor

Also, It is worth to let you know that the Vanilla areas of the game (Eastern Kingdom and Kalimdoor) is a mismatch of bits and pieces of lore from various expansions ranging from Vanilla - BC- Wrath and Cata. And there is no order in this. So to enjoy the lore of the game for reals, you should know that this starts in the additional zones for each expansion.

Unless you are up for the challenge, or really wanna experience everything with the level matching yours, I would honestly say that you should wait til you are done with Endgame, and then do it as a side thing. The lore can still be read, it is just way less time consuming.

Man i knew i forgot something… that guy in stormwind keep that freeze xp right?
dont mind that. i do have a few alts all lvl 20 or so just for a change of pace and i do plan to main later a pala too, but the hunter… i loving it playing with this character!

Didnt excactly got this part… sorry. you mean i ll have to come back later to play other more high lvl quests?

There is a few Cata zones which is in EK or Kalimdor, but otherwise it just means that there’s no linar lore in the Vanilla content. One zone it can be about something in BC, then in the next you have something Deathwing related, and in the next some Lich King related, and suddonly in the next it’s pretty vanilla.

This might help you if you wanna try and follow the story zone-wise

Thats great i ll check it out more later. A question about that. can i do lets say the quests of worgen storyline till lvl 60 and then go to starting areas like Elwynn Forest or Azuremyst Isle?

If by worgen storyline you mean Gilneas, then you will have to roll a worgen for that and complete the questline, this is not an area you can come back to, to quest. (other races cannot do quests at all in Gilneas)

But for everything else, you can come back at any given level and quest. Then you just have to check the box for “Trivial quests” (which you can find by clicking the magnifying glass at your minimap) so you can see the lowlvel quests

Yeah i know i ll be worgen again lol. I have a thing with werewolves hahaha
Then i ll do like you said i ll start over and have my xp frozen before every expansion. I do know it will take forever but its worth it! only then i ll do something else. although i may play just for lvl a few of my alts just for a change of pace. Thinking to start a horde character too…

If it is “your thing” then I find it to be a very rewarding challenge to set for yourself ^^ I enjoy it anyways.

And I am a huge Worgenfan myself. All my chars are worgen except from this one. I made this human for the rep grind, but I do somewhat regret that :stuck_out_tongue:

If you’re new, then why are you removing alts? having multiple alts with high lvls is always recommended for a lot of different things in this game. You only delete if you’re running out of slots for characters to make.

Well i have right now i think 9 or 10 characters. before i bought bfa i played for free till lvl 20 almost all classes (except monk and priest i think they didnt go beyond 15…) to see who i like most. My best is a 120lvl worgen warlock that i boosted when i bought bfa because it was a character i didnt care much to lvl up from scratch but i had fun with. He is parked in Drustvar in Kul Tiras farming for anchor weed from time to time (Got me a token and a sky golem plus a few armor parts in my first month lol). then i have a DK at 58lvl. all the others are 20-25lvl. Thats why i might delete him. Although i did think to change this one to Survival and make BM the new one.

you don’t need to delete anything until you hit 50 characters. so just make new ones for now.
