"Quests Abandoned" Statistic

As I’m sure many of you guys have seen, the Statistics tab next to the Achievements panel shows various details about your character, including how many quests have been abandoned.

This statistic is added to when you either select ‘abandon quest’ or when world quests time out with you having some progress on them. However, this statistic seems to be added to after every weekly reset.

On a fresh 120, I did not unlock any world quests (Legion or BFA) and did not abandon any quests. However, after the weekly reset, I see that the statistic now reads 1.

Does anybody know what may have added to this statistic? I had a clear quest log.

I’m not sure but if you have quest to choose one side, the other quest is not considered abandoned? like Aldor, Scryers?

I don’t think that happens, and I haven’t completed any quests like that on the character.

I’m thinking it could maybe be be something like a weekly quest, just trying to find out from others if they’ve identified what it is

Well quest needs to be accepted/taken in order to be abandoned, if you don’t take a job, you can’t quit a job right? If it happened after weekly reset you can assume that some weekly activity did add to your statistic eg. gathering island azerite would be considered auto world quest which needs to be completed? Because normal weekly quest needs to be taken from Tortollan guy anyway.
