I LOVE!!! the new Solo shuffle… I only play wow to PvP, and this is so fresh and fun to a casual player, returning to wow…
BUT!!
Wait time in queue is on average 25 minutes… Why? How?
Please blizz… This is such an amazing new activity for a solo player as me…
Please optimize the queue or SBMM or what ever is bottlenecking this system.
Well, it seems to be just a 1v1 healer battle, with some random dps in the mix.
I don’t know how to balance it, but it kinda seems broken, that "IF “healer dead” then goto “loss”.
I had multiple fights, where our healer died, but their healer was at 5%, and both DPS was at 15%…
I love the randomness and the pressure to carry… But the queue time and the win condition is just a bummer.
Literally almost all issues regarding soloq and lfg boil down to one issue: There aren’t enough people playing healer. People were complaining about LFG because they didn’t find people to play with but didn’t realise that they didn’t find people because they are looking for healers who don’t exist. Now they’re sitting in a queue because of the same issue. Where is no queue for healers and there aren’t any issues with LFG as a healer.
The solution is to make the role more fun than it currently is imo.
I love it too. It was actually fine on pre patch and on beta of course too. Pre patch queue times were okayish for a dps. around 7 minutes most of the time.
Currently I sit in queue for more than 40 minutes every time (1800-1900 mmr). This is just dumb, and when you get a leaver or no rating gains its even more dumb. 5 hours for 5-6 solo shuffle matches…
Not sure why it sucks so bad now, compared to pre-patch. But Blizzard needs to fix this somehow, asap.
Because when they fixed the problem that was tanks (at least they fixed it as best as they could), they forgot to fix the problem which is QoL for healers in shuffle. There’s not enough healers and prot palas queuing to cover all rating ranges, and way more DPSers are queuing than healers and prot palas.
And healers are suffering from huge balance issues right now, with only eloper doing proper healing in shuffle all around, while the rest suffers from varying degrees of problems. You should read the other threads, you’ll learn more.
I am aware of this. But these things were an issue in pre-patch too, to an extend even more so than currently. It is hard to believe that so many healers didn’t continue to play healer when DF launched up to right now.
I mean, we are talking about 6-7 min queue I had, even on 2500+ mmr and rating on pre-patch… to now 1800-1900 mmr/rating and 40+ minute queue times.
When I look into LFG and general activity, its is much lower compared to SL season 1 2y ago. LFG almost looks dead compared to what was going on in SL Season 1.
It feels more like a general exodus on players that actually play PvP than anything else.
Why do you think they didn’t continue to play healer in DF? They’re just not queuing for a game mode they’re ill-suited for, which is shuffle. Which is why you see way more elopers healing in shuffle right now, than other healers.
If you wanna see rshams for example, then play the normal ladder. More of them there than in shuffle.
I didn’t even see a single Evoker heal in the couple of shuffle matches I had… but many rshams and MWs, priests and druids. Funny enough, I also didn’t see a single DH…
Not sure why you mention rsham, I never said I miss them or wanna see them or anything. I don’t see the point you wanna make with that.

; At the time of writing this.
So as you can see, elopers are performing the best. The amount of popularity it’s seeing is also pretty huge, since it’s a new healer class & spec, since there’s always a certain amount of players who won’t swap their main.
