It’s upsetting to have to queue for anywhere up to 8 hours to play the game, but I know there are plenty of people who think the answer to that is just to transfer. I want to play on a fresh server so I can’t transfer, but this post is about getting booted from queues, rather than having to queue in the first place.
I’ve been turning my PC on 6 hours early to get in the queue. We have an energy crisis in the UK at the moment, so the cost of having to run my PC for this much longer every day is already expensive, but often I will come back to my PC to find that I’m no longer in the queue and all I have is a ‘reconnect’ button. I’m sent to the back of the queue and likely don’t get in until late at night, even though I’ve tried to queue early.
So I’m paying for a sub, and paying higher energy bills, to sit in a queue for 7 hours to play this game, and then I’m getting randomly booted from the queue to add insult to injury. This has also been happening to my friends, and we all have good, stable internet connections.
It’s not good enough. Blizzard has to do better.
