the battleground queue times must be bugged 10-15 min sometimes at bad hours 30 minutes, it makes no sense given how many players wow have and don’t give me the
“not enough healers queueing excuse”
a queue system in programming is very simple even on this scale is simple and shouldn’t be that hard to fix
the amount of time people like me who do a lot of battlegrounds spend in queues is literally half my playtime at this point
this apply to SS too it makes no sense given how popular it is and reporting they sometimes are in queue 30 minutes then requeue and suddenly wooops instant pop yea makes total sense bro
fix it…
Queues aren’t bugged.
PvP is dead. There’s barely anyone playing it at the moment.
Alliance is also the most populated faction by a decent margin pvp wise
Big Q times are the result of the current class design and balance which has proven to be to complicated for most players and pushed a huge chunk of the casual playerbase away from the game or away from PVP.
Much easier and pleasant to progress in M+ then PVP.
still make no sense guys, just gonna leave it at that.
Only tends to go 1 min over the estimated que time, right now its 4 min on horde side
I think there are still some bugs when you use portals and such, think it resets or pauses the timer in some way, have noticed it with shuffle que too
If I que up outside of OG the wait time shown is bout right, same goes for shuffle max 15-20 min wait even had ques pop after 5 mins right now
Queue times ARE bugged. 100%. Everybody telling you otherwise lacks the capability for critical thinking, which is the majority of people anyway.
I’m in que 25 minutes. I requeue and que pops in 50 seconds. This isn’t a one-time thing, this happens to me almost always. Whenever I’m in que for longer than ~15 minutes I just que again and I’ll get a pop in few minutes. It doesn’t make sense at all other than the queues are bugged
yea man can only agree but would just like a comment from a dev since this just stinks of incompetence among the devs having the responsibility of the pvp “system”
it would just take a few developers getting to know whatever codebase they used for the pvp queue testing it out, maybe they just coded the queue to use a slow algorithm instead of a good O(n) time which would be easily fixable
else its just a networking bug with the queue should also be easily fixable with various testing
I think it is because they changed something to make all bgs “have a healer” .
After this the queue times skyrocketed .
I have not had a SINGLE random bg where it did not have 1-2 healers , or 1 healer and tank . (excepting those where we had leavers / no shows)
Seems like the current system insists on making the bg 8 dps +2 healers .
It is also the reason why 40 man bg queue is shorted than random bg que . because at 40 man you can range from 0 to infinite healers .
All they had to do was make sure that bgs with no healers face bgs with no healers and vice versa and it would have been good , but no .
Same as Solo shuffle . People want dps only solo >>> NOO you MUST take that healer and wait for 40 minute .
As a Horde player, I have given up on random BGs 2/3 months ago. Low geared & low XP players were an issue before, sure, but I certainly have seen a massive increase on Horde. Therefore, if I’d queue, I’d definitely queue as merc accepting the longer queue times.
Mercenary mode is supposed to be for the faction with the longest cooldowns. I don’t understand how horde can continue using mercenary mode when in the alliance we are waiting 30 minutes to enter BG.
That would lengthen the times even more.
