Quick mount question

Hey

So unfortunately, alot of the mounts that are purchasable in the WoW shop or the ones you get from other games aren’t really usable IC.

Now I was wondering about the mount you get from purchasing Diablo 4, the Amalgam of Rage.

This is basically a hell hound, so some sort of demon, so I was wondering, can this mount be summoned IC by a Warlock?

I think nobody would tell you off for using it on a warlock.

It certainly has its uses in-character… :fearful:

I mean-… I don’t think a warlock should use it as a mount. It’s the same how you shouldn’t really use a Vilefiend as a mount. It’s not something you just summon on a whim.

But that’s just what my opinion.

I do really like the Amalgam of Rage as a boss or something, though.

Isn’t there a talent you can pick up at level 25 for demonology that lets you do exactly that?

Yeah there is. I think the bigger issue is that most of the Argus mounts, including the Vilefiend variants as well as the Amalgam are the size of a mammoth and make for a weird mount choice.

Meanwhile the Ur’zul is just the right size. A compact demon-cronenberg monster. Can’t wait for all mounts with the Gryphon skeleton model to get dynamic flying so I can use him everywhere.

I use the Amalgam of Rage on one of my warlocks (the vulpera)

Yeah, but I’m assuming that’s just a gameplay thing. It’s already hard enough for a regular ol’ Joe to bind something like a felguard, how on earth would you bind a Vilefiend?

This as well. They’re MASSIVE.
