You know the new Trading Post mount for October? That beautiful broom? THAT should’ve been a dragon riding mount. We could have all played our Quidditch fantasy

Unfortunately, Dragon Riding does not have non-energy restrictive(Vigor) flying, stationary flying(hovering), and inverted(upside down) flying, which are things the magic brooms from the Harry Potter universe can do. Also, “Vigor” for a magic broom wouldn’t really make sense.
In fact, Regular WoW flying is closer to the flying mechanics of the flying brooms in the Harry Potter universe than WoW Dragon Riding. Although, there are two Dragon Flight mechanics that fit the HPU flying mechanics: the inertia mechanic and “Aerial Halt”(Air Brakes), which are Dragon Riding features.
Perhaps, if they improve regular flying, by adding more non-restrictive mechanics to it. They can eventually make a game mode akin to HPU’s Quidditch.
Try flying in hogwarts legacy and discover how wrong that statement is!!
Although they are bringing a quidditch game out, they were advertising for testers a couple of weeks ago on steam.

I said it’s closer to Regular WoW flying than WoW Dragon Riding. I didn’t say it was an exact replication of WoW Regular flying.
