Love that everyone’s probably gonna reroll human now.
And that people want the HUMAN racial removed/nerfed… but not the horde racials that have been overpowered in classic/TBC the entire time?

I dont think there will be a big movement player-number wise.

The reasons are simple:

  1. Horde racials are still better for PvE.
  2. EMFH is only better than horde racials for PvP with S7/S8.
  3. The pvp-community that is trying to minmax is small.
  4. Being human in S7/S8 is useless for anyone who doesnt intend to raid regularly or has big money for gdkps.

Which people are tempted to go human right now? Those who aim for the end of wotlk to get high arena rating. Its useless in PvE, its not better than other racials in PvP until S7 and only impactful with full bis-trinkets available.

On warmane and similar private servers nearly everyone is human is for different reasons.

  1. Human is the best race for dps classes in 3.3.5 with full gear available.
  2. Most players there in the ladder are from the instant 80 pvp servers, where players can just buy their items for honor without raiding.
  3. Anyone else can buy the trinkets in their shop.
    With everyone needing these trinkets, not everyone will have access to both best pve trinkets all the time. On warmane players just get to chose the minmax race with best in slot gear, but its not very realistic for most players to reach this state until the end of the specific patch/the end of the expansion.

TLDR: The argument about EMFH being too strong for wotlk is right, buy only towards the very end of the expansion and only few players compared to the whole player base will get full value out of it.

So my gnomish racials are still gonna resist throughout S1-S2-S3-S4-S5-S6-S7-S8 and you are worrying about horde racials only?

The argument of PvE inside the game is stupid. PvE sucks and should not even be in this game. How can you be above 18 years of age and enjoy repeatedly killing NPC’s to RNG your loot like a lottery? Getting mad everytime it does not drop. Its legit not enjoyable to kill NPC pixels inside a game, can people start getting that?

And they are not gonna make race change available so i can obtain these OP racials?

What you brought are facts. And community doesn’t necessarily act according to that.

It doesn’t matter if EMFH gets ultra over powered in late phase, you need just a a lot of forum/blog posts (which we have) and a streamer or two saying that it’s ultra overpowered (which we also have), to fanatize masses. There will be ton of people going humans, not even knowing what for, just following mainstream movement.

It will 100% suck to be horde or even Alliance that can’t be human and seeing 90% people in arena being humans, no matter what trinkets they have or phase they are in. It goes against all basic principles, be it balance, immerssion or just general fun. Humans everywhere is not fun.

Corrected it for you. Being forced to raid to stay competitive arena is a general thing not exclusive to humans. So we shouldn’t take that into consideration.

Imagine a Horde of Blood Elves if arena/raid racials would be disabled.

You know Blizzard are trying to close RP realms right?

The sole reason for race and faction change services delay is not the RP, but plan to sell rerollers and meta slaves as many lvl 68 boosts as possible. The Blizzard’s marketing plan must be that later such boost buyers would want to race change their old main/alts or, if character(s) is(are) on other realm(s) and faction, to faction change and transfer.

Go quit then. Ur mentality doesn’t fit classic. The whole thing is that he decisions should matter and slightly impact the game. Oh and racial aren’t as OP as some content creators and forum andies make them out to be

I second this, imagine having NPCs and RNG in an MMORPG.
