Make it possible to change the race. Or disable racials from being used in Arena. Or i will quit the game and cancel 2x subs.

Blizzard wants you to pay a monthly for 2-3 more accounts and pay for boosts to 70 in addition to that.
There are paypigs currently browsing this forum that will do exactly that.

I wish we had more alliance, or more balanced servers. So whatever can make that happen, ill support that.
Now that wotlk is coming up, i just want some sort of world pvp. Without having to migrate to firemaw.
No, it removes the rpg aspect from classic, and it will make people feel like they are forced to racechange in pve to bring the most out of their character. I also wouldn’t like my RL tell me to racechange draenei, so they can get 1% more hit. No. If you wanna have a game where guilds racechange in masses to adjust to the meta: Shadowlands is here, it’s fun, and wotlk is supposed to be an alternative to that way to play the game. That’s also why dungeon finder was removed, and I agree with that, because I play shadowlands for that type of experience (which is also fun for me).

I always hear discussions about this, but this very very rarely happens. Sure, there will be tryhard guilds, but you can EASILY find a guild who does not require min-max.
Then dont? I mean, i’ve been asked by GL’s to swap, 9/10 times i say no and thats the end of it. People are over-dramatizing this situation.
I dont think i’ve ever seen an entire guild race-change, ever. Some people race change to play a different race, which is understandable. I also like to play a different race every-now-and-then. Specially after t-morph was removed.
You can pug most raids atm, there is absolutely NO NEED to min-max.
You can also easily find an arena partner, that doesn’t require you to be human.

Reason why i want faction change, is for the balance part. It will ofc backfire if alliance went horde, and not the other way around.
I just want more alliance on the server, so i can thunderstorm them at naxx entrance<3

ofc groups will force race changes to be ‘optimal’ for dps (remember the chicken trinket abuse?) new gen of gamers don’t care about balance (as you can see by server imbalance every where), don’t want to play game as intended (boost toons to max level) or want to rush to the end of the game and buy the best loot (gdkp runs). Until community mentality changes to a more team focus rather than ‘me’ focus, there will never be balance nor change. =(
Some yes, but the majority? i highly doubt that. Its not like pugs will refuse to bring a class, simply beacause he isnt a draenei. And yet everything in wotlk atleast is pug friendly.
Feels like more and more people do pugs anyway, having a scheduled raid day isnt for everyone.
The tbc one? In my guild it was voluntary to get it or not. Some got it while others didnt, there was a few who were very interested in their own dps while others didnt really care.
yeah, sadly i suspect that ALOT of pve’ers go pvp realms only to realise they hate world pvp, im not sure why they go pvp realms to begin with. This is just a personal hunch, nothing i can back up with statistics or something.
Once you’ve experienced something awesome or Quality of life improvements, its kind of depressing to go back to something thats below par (personally im pro rdf)
I also really dislike leveling in itself, its max level where the fun begins. Personally speaking ofc.
Yeah, i never understood those tbh. But then again im not really a pve’er. Allthough i do join GDKP, but thats for making money.
I honestly think this is where blizzard gotta step it up abit. Sure its a community made problem, but its not like blizzard is unable to deal with it.
(Maybe they want people to experience lag, so they sort of fix the problem themselves)

They already said no. What is there to clarify? They made the right call. Spamming the forums with your 3 alt characters won’t make them change their strategy.

That is a personal opinion. My personal opinion is that keeping original features and not alter the game too much (for social/roleplay reasons) is better for the game. I prefer race changes over level boosts. Does that make me wrong and you right? No, it doesnt. Btw, another personal opinion of me is that the Blizzard has no idea about wotlk (like RDF in 3.3.5, which is just wrong facts) and isnt doing a good job at recreating the original experience.
Delete racials. All races strong except troll. No racials = good happy game for all.

My friend, we are here to play a faithful recreation of the game. If you cancel you subs because of a race change, that was originally part of the game, but you use 4 accounts because you bought 4 level boosts, you are not interested in a faithful recreation and not in the product Blizzard announced.
But, lucky for you, you can still play on an era server, in which the service of race change wasnt released.
That would be possible only when Blizzard locked creation of characters on realm majority faction untill faction balance had equalised. They did nothing of this and Horde swarmed Classic realms (It is funny, because in SoM everybody just went Alliance for huge impact of paladins). Soon enough Alliance was extinct on majority of PvP realms because you can’t win 40vs60 if the gear is roughly equal.
And then came TBC making server population disparity even worse, some Alliance player rerolling to the Horde, many leveling Blood Elves and most taking Orcs and Forsaken for arena racials.
And now with EMFH coming we might get a move into balancing each realm, but Blizzard seems to hold up race change to push their lvl 68 boosts ahead.
