Recently I decided to move to horde. And I started this new toon. I played Warrior on the Alliance side, and I want my main back so I’ll move it here. The thing is, which race should I race change to? Is Zandalari Troll a good choice? Or give me some recomandations.
Play what your favourite race is aesthetically. Don’t make racials make the choice for you.
If you like Zandalari, go for it. I will say though they do lack customization in comparison to other races. But if they tickle your fancy, go for it. I love my Zandalari druid
→ dps wise there is nearly no difference.
→ just pick something that you like aesthetically …
→ maybe compared with a racial that helps in your prefered play enviroment:
pve /pvp: bloodelf Arcane Torrent dispell is good (was op) … maybe some tauren / panda stuns … etc …
→ some unique non pve/pvp features… like teleports, profession bonus
for me for expample (but im alliance)
im a di-dwarf: because dispelling myself is huge always (+movement speed) !! im a BS so faster crafting - why not and on top ill have the mole-machine to teleport myself around the world - super good as old-raid-farming-mogg-andy (saldy nothing for SL currently) and yeah only downside for me… many mogs - especial big 2handers are stuck in ground. and shield are a bit smol.
you can look here and go down to the racial area and racial reasons area:
I don’t care that much for pvp, and I care most to make use of all the racials that i have. But I also love for my plate to look good on me . I mean on alliance it was easy, Human looks good in anything and racials all racials are best!
It is not untrue, the PvP ladders speak for themselves. In somewhat higher ratings, every advantage is huge, especially vs mirror matches. Not playing orc means you have to play Brooch trinket.
Zandalari heal is pretty nice if you know when to use it. Since Fury warriors needs to hit the target to heal and Arms doesnt have much of healing at all, it’s good to help healers by healing yourself when you are just standing around waiting for mechanics. Saved me a bunch of times.
