I am starting this thread, because i feel like making a ticket has fewer chances of reaching the right people.
RACE CHANGE - we need it and there is no reason a healthy mind could come up with to forbid it
All i wanted was to have fun with my old friends.
I’ve got baited into starting my warrior as a tauren, because its ‘bis’-race for prot warrior.
But now that i am walking behind a cow all day long, regreting my decision.
And the only struggle i’m in right now is if i quit until race change is available or keep playing with my friends.
Because making the whole process again is obviously not an option.
As you might notice, i’m still here, so i choose my friends.
But it bothers me more and more each day and right now i am once again thinking about quitting for the better good.
Its breaking my fun, my immersion and my feelings i wanted to remember about wotlk.
And the solution for this back in the wotlk days was not to re-roll.
The solution was to pay 20 bucks for a race change.
I played wotlk in retail times since 2009.
The feature was in the game.
This is not a classic experience.

Every horde race looks terrible to walk behind tho. I doubt something this minor could make the game unplayable for someone, but regardless, I don’t see a reason to not have paid race change.

I didn’t say ally was any better, but we do have humans so technically we win.
Imagine it being a game breaker to stop playing the game, obv the game isn’t much fun for you then biglulw.
This is why you should play what you enjoy looking at instead of what is “best”.

Since i’m playing as protection warrior, i’m totally fine. 
But i play warrior since wotlk retail, so my main class was never in question anyways.^^
The only thing that matters is whether your race is the most optimal for the thing you are interested in. If your Tauren is BiS, then its all good. Gotta min-max it to the max even if you need to play an ugly looking character. Optimal performance is all that matters in the end…

What matters is if it brings me joy to play the game.
And the range for what brings joy to which people is very large.
Obviously you would be fine playing a Tauren, because all you look at is warcraftlogs.
But for me this game is more than my ranking on a 3rd party website.
But on the other hand you’re alliance.
You’ve got a huge pool of awesome looking races.
So ez for you to say.^^
I am also looking to do a race change. It was available in retail WOTLK so I see no reason why it is not in WOTLK Classic. I didn’t expect to be playing as seriously as I am now and made a blood elf DK. I regret this decision massively. Just let me spend my money!

Hows a tauren bis for prot warrior exactly.
Probably having access to the additional Stun/interrupt and Higher base HP?
And how does a stun that doesnt work on raid bosses/trash and a minor hp buff make you best for tanking?
Clearly not the best race for a warrior which i suppose is somewhat of a distraction from his original point, which is i chose a cow and now i dont like it.
Just come out and say it instead of making up stuff is my point.
Bigger HP - more damage soaked. Linear thinking and after all the only thing I can think off would be Undead Racial
