Race-class specific customizations and class names

Will we ever get race-class specific customizations and class names?

As in:

Playername, Human Paladin
and
Playername, Tauren Sunwalker (Paladin)
Playername, Blood Elf Bloodknight (Paladin)
Playername, Blood Elf Farstrider (Hunter)
Playername, Night Elf Sentinel (Warrior)
etc.

And things like:

  • Night Elf Priests having silver holy spells instead of yellow (as it is in official lore)
  • A ‘light’ version of shadow priests for races such as Draenei/Lightforged and a ‘dark’ version of holy priests for races such as Forsaken/Void Elf - this could be a simple recolouring of spells, or name changes and icon changes (we already have holy spells that can harm and shadow spells that can heal)
  • Unique spell names and/or icons for Troll and Tauren Paladins, so they’re more like their actual fantasy classes and less like your standard Human light knights

It would go a long way to legitimizing certain class/race combitionations, improve fantasy and RP aspect, help smooth over certain lore breakers, and just generally give us help in getting immersed in our characters.

They slapped a bit of gold paint and a blonde wig on Draenei and called them Lightforged. This could have been a class customization for Draenei Paladins.

I think this would be better, more apprechiated, and more desired by the community than anymore allied races.

This would also probably allow more races to be more classes, as their race/class combo can be more easily justified if what we consider to be a class becomes a ‘playstyle’ instead - as in they become purely mechnical, and the actual class name are unique to the race

For example, if you tweak the appearance of holy spells and make them shadow looking? … Now we can have Night Elf, Void Elf and Forsaken Paladins (Night Warriors, Voidknights and Death Guard).

What it means to be a ‘paladin’ in terms of gameplay is simplified - it’s just a warrior that also uses spells to heal, protect and buff. Blizzard has already taken steps toward simplifying what it means to be a paladin by implimenting Zanadalri and Tauren Paladins. But now what it means to be your particular class in fantasy/roleplay is amplified. Both Human Paladins and Tauren Sunwalkers benefit from this, because by not sharing a class title they both become more distinct.

Extend class fantasy, make our characters more iconic, and more people will love their characters. I think this would be as important as transmog.

Oh… I would love that.

Pity that Blizzard lost touch with fun and is all about effort/profit right now.

I love these ideas! We get a little bit of this with the Zandalari and Kul Tiran druid forms but it would be great to be able to officially be a Dinomancer or a Sunwalker. It would definitely add some more RP and racial uniqueness into the game.

thats all something ive wanted for ages. Though id still make optinal so if someone wants to be shadow and actully shadow themed as lightforged they still could for example.
Also we can have nelf palladins without,we had multiple in legion.
And their priesteses/sentinels and what not are all quite palladin (as sin warrior that fights with /uses light based powers from force/diety they believe in).

And something that could be done is druids for nightborne, blood elves and gnomes/golbins.
Nightborne and blood elves would be like botanist from NH,would be arcane based controlling of nature(and old lore had belf druids/botanists i believe make the runestones around quelthelas but im not 100% on that).
And goblins and gnomes could be turning themselves in machines for form changes.

And still both make lot more sense then goblins being shamans by bribing the elements.
