Can anyone offer any suggestions on which horde race would be most suited to the Shadow Spec? I may want to heal at some point too so kinda thinking about that…
I’ve never played a Shadow Priest before and I really want to try it out.
For max dps in general I recommend checking the latest sims on either

or
raidbots.com
That being said, just play whatever you believe suits it most. Every race has advantages and disadvantages. I’ve always played a goblin shadowpriest because goblin jump is great and haste is always good, but the dps difference between the best race and the worst race is not enough to make it relevant, unless you’re going for world first races.

The answer for shadow is undead
and be a sylvanas fanboy
Undead, just that…
The whole vibe surrounding the class and race, plus their lore just begs for both a shadow and a holy/discipline priest.
Plus the fact they get to be less boney and shredded clothes with SL’s customisation options.
Undead, Troll or Zandalari (Shadow can give off a very spooky priest of Bwonsamedi vibe)

tbh warstomp does seem useful when melees get too close to you as a priest

Everything except Blood Elf in my opinion, with void elves lore and how they were exiled it just seems bad to me.
It’s up to you. Choose whichever you prefer.
I have many shadow priests but my only horde one is a BE because, when I made her it was BE, troll or undead. Troll feet are too big and undead had a habit of losing bits of their body here and there.
