It’s so frustrating to play the race you enjoy the most and always have in your mind that you would have done a lot better if you just play the meta race.
It might not make a huge difference in pve, but for pvp… Oh boy imagen you can just remove all the harmful dmg over time effects every two minutes, especially as a stealth class who can full reset now.
The trade of is that you mostly can’t identify with the race that is best for your class and makes you not enjoying the game that much.
Can we please make racials selectable? This would improve immensely how much I enjoy the game.
If you can’t do it lore wise remove them for rated content, racials are not a small advantage!
OK So to ease your OCD min/max obsessed mind the rest of us should miss out on cool flavourful racials that make the races feel more alive and unique? The game should be made more boring for the rest of us to suit you.
Just get over it. Min/maxers ruin EVERYTHING in WoW, this is another thing they could potentially ruin.
If some of you people had your way the races and classes would have nothing unique at all and there would just be three classes one for each role.
They would have unique abilitys, but they should not have them in rated content. It is a huge advantage in pvp.
How is that min max if you can remove all the dots with one race that would 100-0 you. One race can just press a button, the others have to run and use defensives.
Rather than allowing anyone to pick any racial, I would just disable them in rated PvP. Doesn’t make much sense for an Undead to shadowmeld or for a Night Elf to eat corpses.
I instantly /bow to a tauren rogue. Their racials probably suck for the class, but they are so cool. Who cares about min maxing? Do that at work, not in a game lmao.
No, racials are not as op as you make them out to be and I seriously doubt that’s what is stopping you from getting high rating in PVP. Stop overthinking useless stuff like this and just play the game.
Increased stamina, 2% crit bonus damage/healing, and an aoe stun. Yeah, tthings are really rough for tauren rogues. Excuse me while I summon my magical mailbox on Nightborne.
Long gone are times in which racials were actually op. And yes, the pvp community cried so human got nerfed, but Blizzard, in their wisdom, forgot to nerf troll, be and orc racials for PvE, leading to the great exodus that still plague this game. For what racials have done to the game, they deserve a punishment!
I do think racials should have either been removed or made cosmetic only a long time ago but obviously, the crowd that does not have to deal with those imbalance is the loudest, so Blizzard does not want to hurt them…
They should disable them for everyone in rated content
after all it’s a competitive mode so
you are not going to use bike in competition where people RUN
Of course you don’t understand what I am talking about as a pve player. Like I said it’s not a big deal there.
Again just imagine a dwarf rouge playing 2v2 arena, let’s say with another dwarf rouge, compared to two nightborne rouges.
As a dwarf you can clear bleeds that eat up all your health, you have another clear restealth.
As a nightborn you have a slow?
I played that comp and I can tell you I would have won many games more if I would be a dwarf. It’s really important to get a restealth as a rouge playing with another dps.
So saying that it is not a huge deal is just wrong. Bleeds especially are really strong this expansion.
