Racial need to be remove

Can racial just be remove in the game now you find it hard to balance it and haven’t try to in years its has broken pvp and pve in the past.

if you just remove the racial feels like more people would play and have new ways to RP and enjoy different story’s that blizzard spent time making I haven’t even seen the Night elf human undead and goblin heritage amor quest cause none my alts are that race and I don t want to waste my time an new alt and grinding the rep and lvling again but if they no racial I would play other races to have fun but such a pain when you play another race and don t have the OP racial

we can now raid and pvp with the oppose side so I don t know why its still a thing.

Racials contribute to like 1% of your damage, it’s really not that important.

The “damage” racials aren’t the problem. It’s utility racials that can be completely busted, such as the Night Elf one.

Shadowmeld is already broken for normal classes, but not picking it if you’re playing a stealth class is straight up choosing to handicap yourself.

Honestly, it’s not as important as you think, it’s a slight dps upgrade, but only slight.

Although, i don’t remember if in pvp you can meld, then re stealth, i think yes. For pvp it might be really really good.

If there is one racial i hate it’s the lightforged draenei racial.

No they will stay.

You can, and you do.

Shadowmeld also allows you to dodge important CC spells such as Polymorph or Fear, since it cancels the cast.
Even better: if you’re good enough and use Shadowmeld at the exact same time as your opponent uses Hammer of Justice or Stormbolt, you actually immune the stun AND it triggers its cooldown for your opponent.
For healers, Shadowmeld cancels combat so it allows them to start drinking instantly in arena.

It’s completely broken in PvP.
Again, I didn’t even mention Druids & Rogues here.

They make a ton of money from race changes so no, not gonna happen.

For pvp it’s good, probably too good then.

I seem to remember doing that kind of stuff on druid/rogue, but it’s been long since i last pvped.

Another example is when Feral Druids and Assassination Rogues are overtuned.
Everybody is playing those specializations - so everyone else start playing Dark Iron Dwarf to completely destroy and cancel the burst of those two specs.

When Balance druids are broken?
Healers play gnome so they can use Escape Artist to get away from Root-Beam without wasting their trinket.

Disable all racials in PvP.
Keep them in PvE, l don’t really care.

Racials is one of the very few remaining ingame mechanics that try to show that it is a ‘world of warcraft’ fantasy setting.

All the racials got their strengths and use-cases. Some swear to Dwarf, for bleed removal being OP. Goblins swear to their jump being BiS. Night Elves swear to Elune that shadowmeld is OP. Humans laugh and say they are OP. Gnomes giggle, while pointing to DPSsims being top. Taurens stomp their way to victory. So on it goes… So, what you can take from it is that all racials are OP, they are all equally broken, just in different settings. That is perfectly fine.

In recent time blizz have been more careful with racial interactions and PvE. Dwarf racial was not allowed to remove the critical boss bleed. Shadowmeld no longer true drops/resets combat during boss fights (without being the only target). Fights are not designed with only rocketjump in mind.

So TLDR:
Racials are balanced, everyone got a unique and useful quirk.

i don’t want them to be removed but some races really have advantage over others, a balancing & adding unique ones to races like maghar orc would be great

Ancestral call is great. The pet health is actually a big boon for hunters and the 10% reduction DoT time is big.

It might not be as immediate impactful as a stun, but removing 10% of most scary RoT damage is huge. Don’t scuff at it. Then you get free dam activate, for your burst amp.

Mag’Har isn’t coming off as weak at all. They usually sit in a solid midplace efficiency spot.

Racials are certainly important if you are aiming top raiding/pvp/m+ or simply professions. Removing racials will make races just cosmetic. So it’s not a good idea to remove racials. Perhaps, adding more racial abilities/passives could be far better and fun or racials could even interact with class abilities(empowers them/visual changes). WoW is a RPG and races/racials should stay.

Both Night Elves and Humans have great racials tho, especially for PvP.
