Still no word about racials being reworked in DF? Lately I saw a lot of topics about it and it’s my major problem with wow.
As it stands, the rule is ‘if it can be orc, it should be orc.’ As demonstrated in one of the latest Skill Capped videos: https://youtu.be/C14supw7X-o .
By allowing orcs to be priests in DF, this takes away another few races from the list of bis race/class combos and it replaces them with orcs. So the pvp experience will be: Orcs vs paladins, demonhunters, druids and evokers. (We can argue that surv hunters are better humans with rele trinket, but that’s very niche.)
Please let’s not argue that you can be rank 1 as any race. That’s just saying that from 0cr to rank1 you will have much harder and more frustrating time reaching it without being orc with 20% stun duration reduction and a racial Gladiator’s Badge.
No, playing female orc isn’t a solution for me. There are over 20 playable races in the game and having to play just one because of a busted racial isn’t fair. 1% stun duration reduction would be more in line with other racials. But 20% when the main win condition is stun? Please…

Racials should be removed completely and turned into some gimmick thing does does not affect PvP or PvE. This way people can actually chose the race that they want to play because of looks/lore/animations and not because it has the best racial.
Right how it’s only orcs orcs and more orcs because of the stun immunity and blood fury.
But ofc blizz won’t do that, they will just nerf orcs and buff another race so people will also pay for a race change.
People acting like you have to be Orc solely because of Rogues… I wonder if you are actually stupid, or simply putting on an act just because #RogueHatredLOL
Stuns are the only CC you can die into in this game (barring Warlock Coil and SP Void Eruption). No matter how good or bad Rogues are, no matter what, as long as you can ONLY die in stuns then the best racial will ALWAYS be the one that massively reduces stun duration as you get to access your spells before you are dead, giving you a chance to survive.
Even if you remove Rogues from the game right now there is no racial that comes close to Hardiness because Leg Sweep, Stormbolt, Axe Toss, Chastise, HoJ, Maim, Lasso, etc are what you will die into. That is very basic game understanding. Stun, kill. Less stuns on you, less chances for the enemy team to kill you.
In what point does this change anything? The main reason for playing it is still for the rogue because they have 1. The longest stun out of anyone 2. Are able to stun everyone and everything triple dr without any real drawback besides losing a global 3. Have enough obnoxious damage to kill people even WITH orc in a stunlock.
Its funny how you just came in here to find the smallest reason just to defend rogues on it
Yes. Because it is better than Orc in some cases as you retain stun removal and stun protection, but also protection ahainst everything else thrown your way. Which doesn’t change my point about stuns.
But before playing Human meant no teammates while now you can play cross faction.
No. 2% more stats from all sources, not flat out 2%… it is very different. It means if you have 10% Haste, you get an extra 2% of that, which is 0.2% extra.
The more stats you have, the stronger the racial. Human tends to be better as an expansion comes to an end. In BfA S4 thanks to the corruption granting us high base stats Human was insane, for instance.
